Swn98 - No one wants to get relegated, but surely you DO NOT want to keep watching this dull tripe. Better to die trying than to sit safe playing 'Let's not lose, senseless dull, dull football. Let's be brave and try something exciting.... you never know you just might like it.
I very much doubt we will make the play-offs any time soon, but at least get someone who will try to entertain us. There are plenty of young, even some not so young intelligent managers / coaches out there.
The acceptance, by so many, of such rubbish astounds me. Grow some balls and dare to dream.

I like the 6,000 will not be going to PR next season if MM is still in charge. He is a bully that has abused the fans one time too many. His football is boring, and I work too hard to spend my Saturdays in the company of this man and his dull football. I don't care anymore that he doesn't have the money, and I'm sick to death of the weak "Be careful of what you wish for" doormats who will take any 5h1t that's put in front of them.
MM must go, and if he is lucky enough to con one of these clubs in to taking him then good luck to him..... and them.

I've just got in from work... I say got in, I mean sacked! I cannot work it out, I employed the MM method of customer service, having seen that all I needed to do was lie about telling the customer to f**k off and everything would be okay, some would even defend me
Unfortunately my company have told me that this is apparently highly unacceptable, and no one, but no one is prepared to defend me.

Yes I am sensitive. The Bobby Robson incident was a minor storm over in a matter of days. Micks insults to the fans and boring football has gone on for two years. If you are going to use examples get them in context.

So many doormats..... You let the likes of MM walk all over your club, because you haven't got the b@lls to stand up for it, against an ageing has been with an arrogance best left in the 80's. He time has and long gone. ME is clearly to blame. He allowed Tyranicalsarus Mick to stay at the end of last season even though in any other organisation his position would have been untenable......it surely is now.
We have had much worse squads of players over the years, but never had a manager that plays such dull, dull, dull football.
We have never had such an arrogant and disrespectful manager, and we've had Roy Keane!. How has he managed to out do Roy Keane?
He time was up 18 - 24 months ago, (some would say 10 years ago....harsh). The supporters are leaving in their droves, and "Milne is fiddling while Ipswich burns"..... who will save us? |

11 changes for the Man Utd game, 11 changes for the Portsmouth match, both were cases of a blatant disrespect for the fans who paid good money, and took time off work to support THEIR team, as well as those that didn't travel.
Both were huge disappointments, and yet there are still those who try to defend this, on the basis that it's all about making the Premier League. A league where we will suddenly sell out PR, as all the twice a year fans will pay more money to watch the Town lose more often, but won't come now, when we are likely to win more often. Bonkers! |

Given that MM has saved this club, (from the mess caused by the Football genius that is Roy Keane!), I can forgive him almost anything, but not this. Of course Portsmouth deserved to win... they took the FA Cup seriously, we didn't.... they respected their fans, we didn't. What ever happened to playing football for the fans? Everyone is so consumed with making the Premier League, that they now believe that we shouldn't put out decent teams for the Cup competitions.
If that is the case then make all cup ties free to enter.... now that would thinking about the fans, and at least being honest. Some chance!!!! |
