Its not one dodgy game though is it! He hasnt been up to the job all season! The back four has no cofidence in him! We defend deeper because he wont come off his line! Everytime a ball comes into our box you have to close your eyes because you just know he's not going to come and collect! Other teams realise this and play on his weaknesses! |

Blue Dwarf......i did actually! In one game yes ALB was better but Henderson has been a number 1 and played reguarly in the championship playing very well most weeks too! You have to agree Loach hasnt impressed and as much as ALB is a decent enough back up keeper he is never going to be good enough as a regular number one for us in the championship!
Jewell went with youth at the start of the season but results have dictated that they are not good enough! Do you stick with them and go down with a wimper or do something about it and get better loan players in and try and turn these results round!! If that happens why wouldnt Murphy, Ndaw, Reo Cocker, Cambell and Higgenbottom all sign longer deals? Not as though any are wanted back at there parent clubs! A gamble worth taking in my view! |

Good move!
Loach was cheap and in that i suppose was worth taking a chance with but anybody that has watched him this season will tell you he's just not good enough commanding his box and coming off his line! I hate when people say but he's a good shot stopper.....thats what he's supposed to do! For me he has cost us more goals than just Cardiff this season already! Henderson is a more experienced and better goal keeper! Obviously would prefer him on a permanante but he will improve the team and ultimately thats all i really care about! |

Could it just be that Luongo is a better player tha Hyam! Midfield is a very important area so its no suprise if a player better than we have becomes available then we have to try and get them in! If Hyam is as good as we hope he is he will raise his game and compete for his place! We cannot stop moving forward as a team just because it might stop a home grown player coming through! All our great home grown players got in to the side because they were good enough and that should never change! |

Alan Brazil said this morning that he spoke to Curbishley a few weeks ago and he told him he would love the Ipswich job!
I think Paul Jewell has got it though.....who knows how they all come across in interview and lets be honhest paul jewells record is pretty decent from what he's had to work with! |

I never said leadbitter was hoofing it i actually thought he had a reasonable game..may be not as influential as some he has played in this season but still decent. I would also guess if you asked him he would be honest and say he'd pick Garvan as his best partner of current fit town players. At times they were happy to exchange short passes with both comfortable on the ball. The problem lies in that the movement from the front two wasnt good and the two wide players tucked in to much meaning both Garvan and Leadbitter were forced to go backwards to much where Bruce and Deleany were more than happy to go long!! I was most disappointed with the two full backs who i felt could of got forward more!
Maybe the leap of logic was a bit wide of the mark but you have to agree Mr Keane has not got us playing football and we lack direction a lot of the time?? I believe the talent is down here its just getting someone that can get the players playing to there best of abilty in a system they understand and not constantly under performing |

Stokieblue....did you really think Garvan had a bad game?? I thought he was one of our better players but then i think football is about controlling passing a ball and intellegent movement and vision?? If you like someone to run around a lot chuck themseleves into a tackle and then hoof hopeful balls to no one up front then i guess you are right he did have a bad game!! On a plus side for you tho it does look like Keane is listening to you for that style of football!! |

We are showing signs of improvement, if we keep improving we might make it back up to the level we were already at last season!!!
Its alright there being an improvement but did we really need to change things to such a degree that we have had to endure the performances we have so far this season?? If Edwards and Leadbitter had been added to last years team surely we would have been in the playoff places or at least closer??
The Garvan debate is one of preferences....i stance is yes he can seem slow and casual and if Norris or maybe Quinn was a head of him i could understand it a bit but to say that Trotter is better in that position i'm sorry i just cant see it?? |

But has he had the chances?? He needs a run of games starting in the side....where he plays more advanced than just in front of back four. I think if the mangaer was to show him faith and let him know he has 5 or 6 games to show he can run the midfield (with a worker beside him) not only will his game flourish but i also think he will bring the best out of our forwards especially counago and we can then play some football and move up the table!! |

If only we allowed him to play further up the pitch like he does for Ireland i'm sure he would be a consistant influence on a game that we all know he can!! Where are we going to buy a better passer of the ball for a million?? but maybe a good passing midfield is not what we are looking for now??? |
