Does anyone know how you select the home commentary? I’m watching on a laptop via ITFC.co.uk and on home games it automatically uses Radio Suffolk and away games it automatically selects no commentary. I can’t see an option anywhere to select? Any ideas? |

Hoping that someone might be able to help with a technical query with iFollow here... I bought an Apple adapter that plugs in to my iPad with an HDMI adaptor to stream to my smart TV. For some reason, it works on just about every streaming service apart from iFollow (YouTube etc), has anyone else had this issue? I can plug the HDMI cable in to my laptop and steam it to my TV that way but using my IPad and the iFollow app would be easier if it worked! Thanks in advance! |
| Forum Thread | Heartbreaking... at 22:42 3 Mar 2020
As I sat there tonight thinking that being an ITFC supporter of 30+ years couldn’t be any worse than right now, my 8 year old son, who has supported ITFC home and away for the last 4 years with me and loves his football turned to me and said ‘Dad, I don’t want to come on Saturday’... Really did feel like a kick in the nuts, but can I blame him? Anyone who takes their kids will know how sad that is to hear. Yes it’s been bad recently but tonight was an absolute all time low for me, in a ‘must win’ game PL picks a shocking starting XI and from there on each and every one of them proved that they aren’t fit to wear the shirt. There was nothing! No guts, no passion, no desire, no bravery, no quality and against an awful Fleetwood team that came and did a professional job on us. All capped off and summed up by 88 Fleetwood fans singing ‘you’re not Ipswich any more’. Never a truer song sung... [Post edited 3 Mar 2020 22:43]

| Forum Thread | Leiston V Needham Market at 08:58 24 Apr 2018
If any of you are at a loose end for this evening, you could do worse than to visit Victory Road to see what has to be one of Leiston's biggest game in there history. A win tonight against local rivals Needham Market would see them have one foot firmly in the playoffs for the first time in the clubs history and would be a great achievement for non league football in Suffolk. A few former town players on display as well, notably Byron Lawrence and Jack Ainsley and a few ex Leiston players in Needham's team who will be determined to spoil the party, including Leistons former manager. I know a few ITFC season ticket holders have popped down when Ipswich haven't been in action and have been impressed. Hopefully see a few of you guys down there. |
| Forum Thread | Ball boys/girls at 18:02 30 Sep 2017
I’m not suggesting for a second that we lost today because of our ball boys/girls but is anyone else getting pissed off with them? I’m sure they think that they are just there to watch the game. When will the club realise that having slightly older and wiser ball boys will make a difference. When you’re losing, the opposition wastes enough time without us giving them a hand! It may only be small, but they have an influence on the game. Rant over. |
| Forum Thread | New Song?! at 20:36 1 Mar 2017
Dunno why, but always thought we could steal Liverpools song to Chelsea fans re their history... F*ck off Chelsea FC You ain't got no History 5 European Cups, 18 Leagues That's what we call history! So what do we think?... F*ck off Norwich City You ain't got no History 2 major cups, champions of the league That's what we call History! If you haven't heard it, it's to the tune of 'carefree wherever you may be' It's not quite in Liverpools league but you know how the budgies hate us referring to our history! |

Loving DJs Brutally biased views here! Also, for once, it's refreshing to hear Darren Eadie give a fairly honest assessment. |
| Forum Thread | Mick going nowhere! at 10:26 18 Jan 2017
Sadly, the reality is that Mick is going nowhere. Am I happy about it? No! But the reality is that he will get at least till the end of the season. Evans has clearly given Mick a budget to try and bring in new players and if Mucks job was in any immediate danger then surely no Owner would spend money on players and then sake the manager. Also, by sacking Mick, no replacement would be made and have enough time to utilise the January window. He'd also have to pay Mick a fortune to get him out of his contract so the danger of him losing his job any time soon has clearly passed. The change will come with a handful of games left, so they can bring in a new management team, get everyone excited and hopefully persuade people to renew their season tickets. So the question is, what do the fans do in the meanwhile? Because dragging myself to Portman Rd these days is the hardest it has ever been in all my years as a Town fan! |
| Forum Thread | Leiston Striker at 10:23 12 Jan 2017
Just a thought, Leiston striker Matt Blake has scored 27 goals this season so far and was injured for about 3 weeks as well! He also scored 119 in the previous 3 seasons for Norwich Utd. I watch Leiston regularly and he is attracting a lot of attention for lower football league clubs and National League teams. He's already scored 3 goals against Bromley this season and they are watching him (allegedly). Now, I'm not saying he is the the answer to all ITFCs striker problems but Tyrone Mings was playing that level and I'm amazed that he hasn't even been invited to train or play an under 23s game for Ipswich. He's by far and away the best non league striker locally and will probably get pinched from under our noses. Instead of bidding over the odds for journeymen and strikers that have never been prolific, is it that unreasonable to think that he may be able to do a job with a season or 2s experience training and playing for the under 23s? As I said, just a thought... [Post edited 12 Jan 2017 10:24]
