Yes last year it worked to be 'brave' and play a passing style and controlling the game but I feel with our pace and attack and lack of pace in the centre would we not be better to nullify the opposition and counter than a setup of toe to toe with opposition passing from the back etc especially at home and the majority of teams who have more quality than us
Physicality and experience has been lacking makes sense why we may consider getting a shirt term solution to our lack of steel in midfield would free up the others to support delap more we needed an extra body to tighten it up today and against anyone of the top sides
It was obvious brighten had the better quality in 2nd half why can't we accept that and play ugly to get a result or crowd the midfield instead of persisting with playing from the back
Just like the time we were fighting with them for relegation until Moyes took over from Walter Smith and it all changed hopefully not gonna make a difference this tome but brings back memories
Was ridiculed for this suggestion now people think it's a good option , personally think we need that experience and pace would slot into right back position we'll like axel
Thats the dilemma we have unless injuries are coming I prefer broadhead cos if tracking back how much would broadhead be valued at can see him going back to Sunderland in January
What's he's got to do to get on the ideal game to toughen out the game I would of subbed him on put davis left wing not clarke who can't tackle or track back
Yes he doesnt fit the blue print and wouldnt be a good fit but if we are up and down the PL , the question is would you take him as a short term solution ever ? Ps not a serious thread just humoring his comments of a return to PL to a club not in Europe
With chaplin omari clarke Sammie broadhead three is goals there if delap gets even 7 or 8 that's a good return for how we play we will be fine shame about Nelson but was only gonna be a super sub at best
At start of window would say no way but then if we can cough up 30m maybe a loan is doable on another note does Ronaldo fancy another stab at PL? Yes I know wages and impossible but deadline day play stange things in my head
