Lambert: There Was No Respect for the Place
at 19:53:21

It's about time we had a large screen monitor too (like most other grounds have now!!) instead of the pathetic tiny out of date electronic scoreboards we have that break down way too often!! I mean even Colchester have one and they are Division 2!! Come on Marcus bring our beloved club into the 21st century!!

Nash: Individual Development the Main Focus But We Want to Put on a Performance and Win

Is it expected that the final will be shown on Facebook or an alternative viewing source, seeing as though there is no home leg involved for our supporters to come to and watch?

Lambert: We’ll Be in the Fight, Absolutely No Doubt About That
at 15:03:10

Looking at the highlights from yesterday it is quite clear where the problem lays in our defence....firstly, sadly Bart seems to have lost the plot for whatever reason when he was previously a top keeper and secondly, Jordan Spence - he is not marking his man properly...in fact in the second goal he was no where near where he should have been!! Think until January we will to have to go with Gerks & Donacien if we are to stop leaking poor goals!!

Collins Also in Contact With Stoke
at 13:03:48

A friend of mine who supports Villa has said they wouldn't want him anywhere near their club....he is trouble apparently!! Our best option I feel is to go with the three centre-backs we have until January and, if we can manage to stagger up the table by then, bring Luke Woolfenden back and give him game time in the second half of the season. Providing we stay up this year we cannot now expect much more and we need to use this as a transitional year to develop some younger players for next season imo.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Ipswich Town - Highlights
at 20:50:26

I agree, Nsiala won the ball cleanly in a perfectly legitimate manner...Forestieri simply fell over him and played the injured party....he was no where near our player at the time of contact. For the second week running a totally farcical decision by a poor official....hope we decide to appeal....if that got overturned then the EFL panel is a joke!!

Town Opt Out of U23s Premier League Cup to Protect Pitch
at 21:48:12

Yes, BluesandTrues....28 games so that means 14 at home then? Played over the course of 9 months that is one and a half games a month!! After the first few home games the rest of the matches are at Playford Road anyway so how is this relevant? It would be nice to see more of our young players getting familiar with the Portman Road surroundings wouldn't it? In the days when I first started going to Portman Road ALL reserve team games were played there...on the main pitch too!! There is clearly a major problem with our pitch then and money needs to be spent now Mr Evans!! I too enjoy watching the U23's there and would have been there for the cup games which were most enjoyable in previous seasons, even if we did go out at the first group stage.

McCarthy: Get Behind Hyam
at 21:08:13

I had some idiot behind me in the Co-op stand moaning the whole game and shouting at Ryan Tunnicliffe....for goodness sake in the second half he was probably our best player today!!! I just don't understand the mentality of some of supporters or what they expect from a team that has been put together for virtually nothing and is doing so much better than last year!! Why don't they just go and support some glory team instead with some superstar who cost millions of pounds and leave us real supporters to back our boys!!!

Young U21 Squad Facing Swans
at 12:48:40

To be honest bontcho, I am actually pleased that those players you mention are not included. This team is for competing in the U21 Professional Development League and it should be used solely for this purpose and not giving fringe first teamers game time. How else are our young players going to develop towards a first team spot unless they are given 'regular' match time at this level. We should be building a settled U21 squad that plays together week after week which can build a team cameradary to mirror the first team squad and in so doing learn what it means to be part of a team and not 11 individuals. It is little surprise we have not won a game at this level all season with all the changing of personnel in each game is it!!!

U21s Lose to Cardiff
at 21:33:55

Considering we were playing four players from the first team squad, plus Marriott who had a chance at that level at the end of last season, this was a pretty abject performance. The only player who really came out with any credit was Wordsworth who was here there and everywhere and put in a good shift. Taylor was woeful and seemed disinterested at playing at that level. Marriott tried his best but had little service or support from Taylor. The two triallists were average - the winger was the better of the two. Don't think MM will have seen much to enthuse him tonight. Where were the team sheets tonight??? With two unknown trial players plus several young players who some supporters would not have seen it would have been helpful to have a team sheet for ease of identification!!! If they are to compete at PD Level 1 next year there is a lot of hard work needed I'd say!!!

U18s Lose to Swans
at 19:40:40

The lads were not as potent as last week against Norwich and allowed Swansea too much time on the ball. A very inconsistent referee didn't help our cause with a number of poor/weak decisions especially on fouls by the opposition - in one instance no card was shown for a deliberate two-footed lunge in the first half when it could/should have been a red card offence. It seems that we lack both height and a physical presence in the striking positions - all too often the lobbed ball forward was being gobbled up by The Swans defence and this is an area that Gerard & Co. need to look at. Good luck to the boys for the remainder of the season though!!

Impressive U18s Beat Spurs
at 16:08:15

An excellent performance in all areas of the pitch....for me the stand-out players were Josh Emmanuel, Ted Bishop and carrying on from super performances both at U18 & U21 level was Matt Clarke who I believe is a first teamer in the making at a very young age. Having praised these three the whole team deserve credit for the way they tackled one of the top academy sides and it all bodes well for when we get to Cat 1 status next season. 10/10 lads...keep up the great work!!

Skuse: Town a Sleeping Giant
at 10:37:54

Totally agree @RetroBlue - Sky pumping more and more in whilst regularly increasing their already inflated subscription rates is making the game elitist from both the playing side and also us fans. The gap between the PL and the Championship is continually widening and before long it will be impossible for any team that goes up to survive. The players who have played in the PL on hugely ridiculous wages cannot then accept a reasonable contract at Championship level because the difference in their wage packet is too big to do it.

U17s Lose to Colchester
at 18:30:58

IMO Matt Clarke is being played out of position....in the last two games he has appeared he has been at full-back but I feel central midfield is where he should be playing with his undoubted skills. He is NOT a full-back but I believe he has a terrific future if he is developed as a midfielder - his talent will be wasted if not!!

Tottenham Win Academy Showcase
at 22:00:21

Very unlucky but a super game for the 4,500+ of us to enjoy - looks some very promising lads in our squad. Star of the show was without question Sam Ford - two goals any striker would be proud of at any level and he was a constant worry to the Spurs defence with his tireless running - a young Frank me thinks - just remember that name as I think we will hear it many times in the years to come. A splendid evening - if you didn't venture down then you missed a treat - see you next year?????
