I thought it was brilliant. Really enjoyable. A few people came across in a really bad light, Grabban as mentioned and Jack Rodwell came across so bad how can he live with himself ? Does he still play football or does he just collect wages and cripple clubs ? what a tool that guy is. I think netflix have missed a trick with how our season is going, the second half of the season could make unbelievable viewing. |

This bloke graham is a total waste of squad space which coild have been given to one of our own. Im sure he isnt fit and this goes against everything hurst has said about our youth players. send him home now |

Hope not too. I wonder who will play up front as we dont have anyone left do we? Will it be somebody from the u18s or A.Trialist? Who are the next strikers in line after Jackson and Sears now we got injuries to Walters and Harrison and Folami is going or in Australia and Morris on loan elsewhere? |

Lacina Traore would be a nice signing too, although I don't think he would come to us, Simeon Jackson a bit more likely! [Post edited 27 Sep 2018 22:59]

If I was playing Football Manager with that list, as Hurst clearly is, then I would offer trials to the following: Mamadou Touré Thiam Tomislav Kis - croatian international Emmanuel Mayuka - one of the best players ever to come out of Zimbabwe, was at southampton between 2013-15 Cedric Gondo - Ivory Coast / italian nationality - just gone on trial at St Mirren, was a fiorentina youngster - get it done Hurst!!! David Browne - english / papuanew guinea nationality with caps for PNG who last played for FC Groningen in netherlands - get it done Hurst! Also named after a tractor brand, this guy is made for us!! Gael Etock - cameroonian who came through the barcelona academy - get it done Hurst Its ok you dont have to thank me for my extensive research Mr Hurst, just get it done!! |

Have we got anyone to play on the left in jordan grahams position, as he has done absolutely nothing to warrant a place in the squad. We must have better in the u23s and u18s. Be better to have one of our own there, rather than him. Sears be better there. Is Rowe ready to start? Or Jackson wide with Walers up top ? |

is that all ? or is that just the highest wage takers over 30 ? no thanks to any of them |

Happy days. He came on at half time to make his debut. We kept a clean sheet too!! How did he play? Is he a young Mick (from his playing days) in the making ? |
| Forum Thread | Do we have a scouting network ? at 08:58 31 Jul 2017
This question comes to mind when I look at our signings (free transfers and loans from other clubs). I see other clubs around the championship and leagues one and two who seem to be able to buy either hot prospects who have either dropped from bigger clubs academies then made good performances at much lower level as they with their ways up through the leagues or some players who have scored 30 goals in a league below the conference, so the club are taking a gamble of course. All we seem to do is "get bodies in" as mick so eloquently puts it when we usually get three months in to the season and our playing staff looks decidedly thin what with long term injuries and the fact he has usually loaned out all of our potentially good up and coming youths to conference or lower teams by then. I just wonder if we genuinely have a network of scouts unearthing potential we are able to take a gamble on or has mick just got a little red book with his contacts in from Ireland wolves and the like? |

We should do that. McCarthy out and Karl Robinson in please. I think mick should go manage a Gaelic football team he is not up to the job of football manager nowadays. |

I'm sure this week will see the loan signing of a couple of a fellow championship sides prospects on loan so that we can help their club out in the long run by either giving them game time to be able to go back to their club and play first team football or presumably to increase their transfer value to another club not us. I also expect to see the signing of a couple of six foot four inch plus journeymen characters, who have been to the Emerald Isle, to be signed, for their ability to watch the ball fly over their heads from our goalkeeper to the oppositions keeper, who are also able to head the ball when it is in their vacinity. This is from Football 2018 magazine the ultimate guide to the new season in the Ipswich town profile: "Who's the daddy?" Chairman Marcus Evans is a controversial figure in the sports hospitality business and has been described as the worlds biggest ticket tout" Embarrassing. |
| Forum Reply | Mick really has not got a clue. at 07:58 31 Jul 2017
I think everyone knows we wil be better without Mick. I don't understand why Marcus Evans is just takimg so long to get rid of him. We need Marcus and mick gone ASAP, they are taking the club into the stone age. |
