I have said that many times and I will say that again!! Cook's record is horrendous and a total change will not bring you anywhere unless you buy the whole of Man City or Chelsea! He was given enough time last season to bring us to the play-off at least! But he failed and blamed on the players he inherited! These players can't be that bad if they can top the table after 10 games. For 2 seasons in a row! Now, he has all the players he brought in and put out the most embrassinng performance so far. And he has also put us at the lowest League position for decades! |

Excellent goal! Same old story isn't it? All who left went on to perform better, and what we have continues to rot! My biggest fear is coming truth, a wholesale change won't make you a good team unless you buy a Chelsea or Man City! What could have done was to strengthen our weaknesses while keeping the core! In fact, the previous team was an above mid-table team. I think now is the worst in our history! 21st in League One! Cook may have done it before but I don't think he is the man to do the job here! As a loyal Town supporter, I certainly hope this will work out in the first time of asking! In honesty, I am quite disappointed how the new management has shifted out our very own grown youngsters! Not sure changing almost the whole team will work out? Despite the credentials Cook was brought in, I still think he failed in his first attempt to change the team he has inherited (almost all Championships qualities) despite having so many games to prove himself! Look at Chelsea's Tuchel, he was brought in without adding many players but still managed to gather Chelsea to even greater heights! |

It's sickening to see so many of our homegrown leaving for fellow League one clubs. Honestly, these players were all supposedly Championship prospects as most of them were youth when we are still in the Championship! I am sure they are good enough for League One. Back to Paul Cook, he was given about 18 games and how on earth he is able to write-off almost the whole team? I still think he is a failure (during this short tenure)! Please prove me wrong! |

I remember the bulk of players Paul Cook inherited were tipped to win promotion and all were highly regarded in League One. 2 seasons gone and almost the whole squad gone. In honesty, Cook was given 16 games, that is almost 35% of the entire season. However, he has failed to boost the players (so called not his players) to perform. A wholesale change isn't gonna help, as it has been proven before (Paul Hurst era, although the changes then were not like now). These players can't be that bad if they have started the first 10 games so well. Cook definitely has to take the blame for failing to make the play-offs. I sincerely hope to be proven wrong with this wholesale changes! |
