| News Comment | Skuse: Performance Showed We’ve Not Thrown in the Towel at 12:12:58
Well to me what the last two years have shown is we are devoid of any type of winning mentality, a backbone to fight back. We lack a real spine to see a game through. We may do it occasionally but on the whole we are powderpuff. Both Skuse and Chambo have been good players for us but time has caught up with them. We need a fresh spine and who ever is manager needs to go out and buy two leaders at centre half and centre midfield. A powerful striker too. They may even be journeymen in L1 and L2 but the key thing is they are dogged leaders who are battle hardened. A Bostwick type. We have enough quality in the rest of the squad to complement them. |

Good luck Mogga! Got his work cut out at Blackburn but good to see him back in management. |

Great read and sadly I fear you are right. We are not just standing still, we are going backwards and the only outcome will be the downward trajectory to League 1. |
| News Comment | What Do We Want To Be, Ipswich Or AFCB? - Notes for Bournemouth at 11:17:36
Nice one Harry! I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at that. Jesus, I really, really hope Town are up for this and bully them big time. How can they call us cheats? Pot, kettle spring to mind. There is lots to admire about what Howe and Bournemouth have achieved but this is comparable to the Brighton arrogance of the previous seasons. Playing a passing game that is pleasing eye is great and I'd love Town to play that way but we don't and I'm not apologetic for that. We play a contrasting way full of energy, passion, directness and attrition which whilst not elegant we are in no way agricultural or dirty. Far from it, we are clever the way we play but no way cheats. I really hope we push their noses firmly out because some of their arrogance deserves it. Come on you Blues!!!!! |
| News Comment | Trust: Town at Risk of Losing Generation of Fans at 11:02:32
I would have thought there would be no one better than Marcus Evans to make the right call on the price of tickets. And maybe in terms of the "bottom line" he has got it right. However in terms of the longer term and actually supporting the team I would say his approcah is short sighted and a hinderance. Something has to be done if we are to ever push forward. 12 years of stagnation has as the Trust say has put a future generation of fans at risk. If I was the owner I would see every West Ham, Chelsea, Manure, Liverpool, Arsenal etc scarf worn around the Ipswich as potential revenue lost. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: I'd Been Out Long Enough at 22:48:04
I think you need to remember that Mick is being asked questions and he is giving an honest answer. What he says can be skewed to give whatever impression the reporter wants to convey. It's not Mick just sitting there and speaking for 10 minutes and then getting up and walking off. I think we our perfect for each other, for us,someone to stop the rot and hopefully build on and get to the Premier League and for Mick it's a chance to further enhance his cv and maybe get a final shot at a top ten Premier League club. |

Nice read mate and pretty much sums up my thoughts. Whilst there is no doubt we do need a few players in the summer, in my opinion PJ's most important work this summer won't be in his office on his phone but out on the training pitch. |

Give yourself plenty of time, it can backup from St Neots to Cambourne. Hope you all have a safe journey and enjoy the game! |
