at 14:07:22

A massive thank-you to everyone who has bought or ordered a scarf. I am delighted to announce that we have already taken orders for all 100 that we were allocated, so well done, Town fans and Phil H for allowing us to advertise.

We're getting lots of email requests already so thank you Phil for putting this up. Everyone will get a reply, but I'm out this pm / eve (England game v Montenegro) and have to save phone battery - the pesky FA are trialling a ticket-via-app thingy (Grr).

So, expect replies and thanks tomorrow!!!

ITFC Women Thrash Canaries in FA Cup
at 22:30:13

Great day out. A good game, with some good skills and great teamwork from ITFC. I've seen most of their home games this season, and will keep going along. Well done, Felixstowe & Walton, for sorting extra catering today - still queues, but it's not so bad when you can still watch the game while waiting. Many fans enjoyed being able to have a beer during the game too.

Accrington Stanley 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Nsiala's performance will hopefully prove to be the worst by a Town player in any game all season. And his last for the club. Utterly useless.

ITFC Women in Cup Action

I suspect this might not be quite as close as last week's fantastic match v Actonians, where we lost a 2-0 lead in the last 15 mins, conceding the equaliser in the 88th minute, only to go straight up the other end and get an 89th minute winner...
But I'm really looking forward to the game anyway!

ITFC Women in Home Action Against Actonians

A really good game. We looked tired, but I thought we'd hang on at 2-0 with not much time left. Instead we got a belter of a finish. Yet another great advert for the Tractor Girls!
Bring on Sudbury next Sunday (h, 2.30pm)...

Extra Trains for Peterborough Trip

Two cheers for Greater Anglia. Good effort, and will help a lot. But I suspect there will still be massive overcrowding. Hopefully the regular services will also be 3 carriages, as often they are cut to 2 or even 1. No buffet obvs, so bring as much beer as you can carry!

Beattie Statue Collection Raises £6,488, Owner Evans to Double

Wow! Well done, everyone who donated and all those who gave up their pre-match beers to collect! And also to Marcus Evans for matching the amount - many fans said they'd put more in, knowing it would be doubled... that statue will have been funded by thousands of fans.

Family and Team-Mates at Opening of Beattie's
at 20:12:00

I was privileged to be there for the opening, done beautifully. Great that his family were the focus. The decoration has been done really, really well. The only thing missing is his personal memorabilia, but there are plans to get that on permanent display in there "fairly soon".

League One Travel Guide
at 14:00:09

Re getting tickets for low capacity / high demand games. If you're a season ticket holder, get a gold card membership. If you are not a season ticket holder, get a silver membership. If you don't live in Ipswich, you have a good chance of being able to buy in the home end at some, but not all, grounds. If desperate or flush, early booking of hospitality or matchday sponsorship works - and it should be cheaper in League One than in the Championship.
