Touring Exhibition to Celebrate Anniversary of UEFA Cup Win
at 17:55:35

I am sure there will be many opportunities to meet players from that season, both as this exhibition tours as well as at other events. Covid restrictions could yet get in the way of large-scale events, but this exhibition should be Covid-proof as it isn't aimed at large audiences at any one time.

Town Request Information From Season Ticket Holders as They Prepare for Fans' Return
at 11:54:20

I assume this is a new exercise - so the previous time they asked for this information wasn't a success? If ITFC are going to use responses to this plea as a guide to how they'll fill the stadium, then it won't work - there is no incentive for solos to reply, which means many / most non-respondents will be solos, who need far more space per person...

Ipswich Town 3-0 Bristol Rovers - Match Report
at 23:56:55

Really good team performance. We kept our shape, closed them down until they didn't really fancy it. Dozzell had maybe his best game in a Town shirt. Nsiala was excellent, both full=backs quite superb; Ward is class, Chambo looked a natural RB. Drinan had a great debut, Sears was as good as he has ever been... So many positives.

Club Patron Hope-Cobbold Dies
at 22:23:03

A massive loss. Philip was very much part of the Cobbold DNA, a wonderful character, a great host, a passionate fan. Tomorrow is the first day in the 142-year history of the club that there is no Cobbold involvement.

Lambert: Tractor Girls Have Been Brilliant
at 12:53:20

A reminder that the women's team are amateurs! What an experience, to play the full-time professional cup holders, loads of internationals... we may not win, but we will do ourselves proud, for sure.

Hat-trick Hero Biggs Lost for Words
at 21:54:47

I am so pleased I got up at stupid-o-clock and hacked up the A1 for today's game. That was as good a hat-trick as I have ever seen in over 40 years of football. Clinical finishing and really good team play to create the chances. ITFC Women are making headlines on BBC Sport tonight, and deserve every single plaudit. A perfect weekend for Town fans.

Tractor Girls Thrash Huddersfield to Reach FA Cup Fifth Round for First Time
at 16:35:40

Fantastic performance, proving that we belong at the next level up. We're a young side, but brave, and very talented. We ran out of steam second half, but luckily so did the home side in the last 15 minutes! We were tactically superior throughout, played to our strengths, negated theirs and battled all we could and then some. Proud of our team. On we go!!!!

We're getting lots of email requests already so thank you Phil for putting this up. Everyone will get a reply, but I'm out this pm / eve (England game v Montenegro) and have to save phone battery - the pesky FA are trialling a ticket-via-app thingy (Grr).

So, expect replies and thanks tomorrow!!!

ITFC Women Thrash Canaries in FA Cup
at 22:30:13

Great day out. A good game, with some good skills and great teamwork from ITFC. I've seen most of their home games this season, and will keep going along. Well done, Felixstowe & Walton, for sorting extra catering today - still queues, but it's not so bad when you can still watch the game while waiting. Many fans enjoyed being able to have a beer during the game too.

Nsiala's performance will hopefully prove to be the worst by a Town player in any game all season. And his last for the club. Utterly useless.

ITFC Women in Cup Action
at 16:24:52

I suspect this might not be quite as close as last week's fantastic match v Actonians, where we lost a 2-0 lead in the last 15 mins, conceding the equaliser in the 88th minute, only to go straight up the other end and get an 89th minute winner...
But I'm really looking forward to the game anyway!

ITFC Women in Home Action Against Actonians

A really good game. We looked tired, but I thought we'd hang on at 2-0 with not much time left. Instead we got a belter of a finish. Yet another great advert for the Tractor Girls!
Bring on Sudbury next Sunday (h, 2.30pm)...

Two cheers for Greater Anglia. Good effort, and will help a lot. But I suspect there will still be massive overcrowding. Hopefully the regular services will also be 3 carriages, as often they are cut to 2 or even 1. No buffet obvs, so bring as much beer as you can carry!
