No Wolfenden or Edmundson in the line up far too risky they both give goals away

Cardiff Eyeing Tuanzebe
at 16:06:23

This is all total rubbish Kieran McKenna has been gently playing Axcel until he's 100% ready for the full 90 minutes, I would take this rumour with a pinch of salt as Axell is lined up to be a permanent fixture alongside Burgess, we might let Wolfi go for £20 million

McKenna: Hirst Hamstring Injury Significant
at 18:19:11

I'm with Arnie M regarding the over-watering of the pitch like just before the 2nd half. It's Bloody watering again, this is a bad practice and can cause some serious leg injuries they need to stop this ASAP as it's not required, now regarding Hirst replacement and Morsy I don't think Jackson is the answer Freddie is the better option for now but Sony Aluko could be the answer along with Broadhead bring in Humphreys in midfield as I like this lad he's got class and won't let the side down, Taylor seems to disappear during the game I want to see Williams at RB as Clarke leaves the left flank with far too much space for the opposing forward to work in, also will Axel Tuanzebe put in along with Wolfie as Burgess is off to Aussie very soon, I think we can just about manage until the window opens and we just might see the likes of Jay Stansfield Fulham or Kaide Gordon of Liverpool both spot on Strikers I'm sure Kiearan has irons in the fire regarding incoming players

McKenna: We Had Quite a Long Meeting On Thursday
at 18:21:19

All KM needs to do is instil a more aggressive side to our game, be like Sheff Wed and get that ball up to the front line ASAP Bolton is the same they make it look easier and keep the pressure going for the full 90 + minutes, this is League 1 where we have to mix the pretty and aggressive together, lots of this league 1 team only know one way to play, hoof and run so we have to be more in control of these opponents and learn to mix it and grind out results and stay focused for 90 + minutes never ever take your foot off the pedal lets start to see more 5 plus goals winning games

Town Back in For Hirst
at 10:55:33

The one player we desperately need is a quality CB to seal our leaky defence, and that player has just come available after 8 years Sean Morrison from Cardiff he's been there and worn the T-shirt as captain In the premiership and Championship and scored 33goals from a defensive position, he's only 32 so has bags of talent we've sorely lacked attacking potential from corners and free kicks so if Kieran has been searching for a quality defender he should snap up Morrison quickly

Nolan Set For Town Exit
at 16:34:50

Thank goodness for that, now get rid of Jackson, Carroll, Fraser, and even Norwood and Bonne if he can't improve his game awareness, Edmunson can leave as he's got too many possible mistakes and errors in his game. I just want McKenna to bring in quality players to get us promoted

Edmundson: We Played Well Up to the Final Third
at 15:02:22

Timmy H we have got a big physical number 10 his name is Tyree Simpson, at 19 he's built like a brick S**T house, scored 11 goals at Swindon on loan stick him up top he's really good at holding off defenders, stick him alongside Norwood or Pigott upfront. But we do need another quality CB to play alongside Wolfie, Edmunson is not the right player to be captain and he's like our ex Toto was, always has a mistake in him, like yesterday, he's too lightweight, we need another Mobray captain type CB one who's faultless and commands respect and commitment from his team, if we can't thump Gillingham and Doncaster next up then we are in big big trouble. I know McKenna has only been here a short while and is sussing out the players he wants in his squad, but if we aren't in at least the top 8 end of the season then there will be yet another mass clear out of deadwood, we have to lose this inconsistency in our game performances, it's ok to have say 2 players having an off day but not 10 that's not on and shows disrespect to the manager and traveling fans, when McKenna was appointed I hoped he would change this side of our game that's been with us for far too many seasons and needs changing, and it's no good us saying oh we missed Morsy, we should have another player that can step in his place and do the same hard-working committed job and keep the team working like clockwork.

Richardson: Surprised, Absolutely Devastated and Gutted
at 11:37:20

It's now been proved that Cook cant manage without Liam Richarson, he was all talk and not a clue on important tactical game changes. Now down to the nitty-gritty subject of our next manager, If we want promotion out of this league its got to be someone like Neil Warnock love him or loath him he's got the credentials on his CV for getting the best out of his squads and gets clubs promoted, which is what we all want yes. John McGreal will do a fine interim assistant managers job as he had done a good job at Colchester over 12 years, why oh why did Colchester get rid of him when in 5th place beggars belief, they've done nothing since he left, I cant see Frank Yallop making a success over here, how many American Managers have made it a success in our leagues??? forget Frank Lampard and John Terry they've both got management ideas well above their stations as Frank proved at Chelsea, he done ok at Derby BUT nothing since. So if we want out of this div one league bring in Warnock and lets get the ball rolling in the right direction for once.

Cook Ready to Offer Contracts
at 10:44:29

Out of all 52 squad I would expect Paul Cook to get rid of at least 35 players, if he wants to build his own team he's got to be ruthless.
Also what would help is Marcus Evans selling up he's been the stumbling block for 14 years, I want to see Gamechanger 20 Ltd take over in May and start a new episode in rebuilding Ipswich Town FC back to where we should be Championship plus status, and to implement the Brentford FC way of recruiting future players, and do away with the youth development that we lose money on, especially when we get quality young players moving to Premiership teams for appetence value. So we must change completely our strategy on recruitment and only have no more than a 17 number 1st team squad to maintain a strong gelled together team to challenge for promotions, The Brentford way or die as a club.

Cook: To Play For This Club, You Have to Carry a Little Bit More Weight on Your Shoulders
at 00:05:37

Right say Paul Cook has a really good clear out come the end of the season, we currently have a squad of nearly 40 ?? that needs trimming to 17 max, and of that 17 that remain and that will include new players coming in to build a decent hard working squad.
We will still have the incumbency of our owner, who refuses to allow our manager to bring in and finance the quality players needed, this my friends is the main stumbling block, and has been for 14 years, so until the ownership changes, nothing will change at Ipswich Town FC

Cook's First Town Press Conference - Part One
at 22:23:36

If he acts like a father figure to the players, treats them with respect, can issue constructive criticism, chastise where required just like our previous successful managers, Sir Alf, Sir Bobby, Joe Royale, George Burley. if Paul can achieve this factor he will have success at Ipswich, and have a canny knack of bringing the right players in to build an efficient very effective team.
Good Luck Paul C COYB

What has to be instilled into the team is its a team game, if another player is in a better position to score then pass to him. also i wont get carried away on one good result in 5, but we must start to be more aggressive, and win against these weaker teams, Oxford up next lets see how we perform against a better team, and the remaining games
