Was surprised to see Hull tickets on sale at 10….
at 13:42 16 Apr 2024

I'm sure there were quite a few visible gaps in the home area in the highlights I saw of the Leeds game.

I’d say it’s actually rare for the coaches to arrive more than 20 minutes before the designated departure time. Normally lots of people waiting before then though.

Expect a stop at a Motorway service station on each leg of the journey. At least 45 minutes, often an hour, on the way and a shorter stop on the return journey. Coaches 1 to 3 are allocated seating, but the rest are on a first come first served basis. No hot food or alcohol allowed on the coaches!

You are correct. He needs to avoid picking up 2 more cards in the next three matches. The official document is :
https://www.thefa.com/-/media/files/thefaportal/governance-docs/player-essential
which states the period runs up to and including the "Last day of the relevant league playing season prior to the Play-Off matches"

I’m 62 and had my second one this year. Not sure when the first one was but almost certainly less than 5 years ago.

We never get penalties like the one West Brom got tonight
at 13:24 11 Apr 2024

Mind you, I think we got away with a handball last night in our own area soon after the start of the second half. Ball was played across the box from the Cobbold Stand side and I'm convinced a Town player handled it rather than chesting it away as they intended. Not sure who it was, Burgess or Davis? Ref had no chance of seeing it as the player had his back to him but the Assistant should have done.

Club comments have made it worse
at 14:31 9 Apr 2024

"Not right for those who follow every week could not go whist people who do not even support club got tickets"

The every week bit is patently wrong as anyone who's a member this year and last, and who's been to 20 away games over those two seasons would have got a ticket.

The big own goal regarding ticketgate is the potential of the playoffs isn't it?
at 10:49 9 Apr 2024

"It rewards those who go to most away games but only if they pay an extra £40 for the privilege of having their attendance recognised."

I really don't get this attitude. If you want to go to away matches the membership is a no-brainer. If you're not a season ticket holder and want tickets for home matches the membership is a no-brainer. For an away match where you're likely spending at least £75 on ticket, travel and food/drink so it really doesn't work out as much of an overhead if you attend even semi-regularly. No one seemed to complain about the Goldcard (cheaper I know) previously, which was also a necessity if you wanted to guarantee tickets for low capacity away grounds.

11 arrests
at 12:08 8 Apr 2024

I noticed a couple of the arrests were for releasing smoke bombs. I wonder if it was the idiots in the Barclays who let them off while they were covered by that awful banner. I know its a stereotype, but you really have to question the intelligence of Norfolk people to do that while covered by a banner.

Away tickets & points

Had that last season for Shef Wed away. Son couldn't go so took the tickets back to the shop but mistakenly handed mine back not his. He got the point and I didn't

We won the UEFA cup that year, perhaps we’ll win the Playoffs this year.

Sun in eyes!
at 11:49 5 Apr 2024

That's not necessarily the case now. The Law originally stated that the team who won the toss chose ends and the team that lost always kicked off. This Law was changed a few seasons ago and now lets the team that wins the toss chose to kick off if they want too. Not sure why you would, but you can now.

Edit: Also, being a 12:30 kick off the sun will be pretty high in the sky and shouldn't be particularly low even by the end of the match.

Norwich roll call...
at 12:32 18 Mar 2024

Ineligible people must have been holding tickets in baskets as there's now 280 tickets left, whereas at 10:55 there were 116 !

Any other explanation is.....
at 11:00 18 Mar 2024

Still around one hundred left at 10:55. Assuming the expected demand, I would have expected anyone on 30 pts would have tried to purchase by now. Managed to get mine and my sons by 10:17 when there was plenty of choice, even though I was around 1500 in the queue initially. Going to be madness tomorrow.

Attendance last night announced at 28,001
at 17:15 6 Mar 2024

There were numerous spare seats (around 400 at 5pm) all along the back of the West Stand. Mostly those with restricted views, although there were quite few unrestricted view ones in K section.

If it's anything like the projections I've done for my youngest and his 50K student debt (interest ~RPI+3%) it's extremely unlikely that he will pay it off. More likely to expire after 30 years with debt outstanding.
