Thread | Smoking in SBR Lower toilets

Has anybody else noticed that this has gone from being a nuisance ie people queuing up to smoke in the cubicle; to being rife.
At the Villa game, many fans simply stood in the middle of the mens toilet area openly smoking.
I consider myself to be fairly tolerant of most things, but I don't want to breathe in others' smoke and the ceilings are very low in there.
I've spoken to stewards, but they don't seem to be interested in what would obviously be a confrontation. |

Whilst noting the reduced season ticket numbers for next year, is there not another angle that the club are having to protect, if we reach the promised land.
Our current away fans capacity is 2000.
In the Premier League we would be obliged to provide 2900 based on current capacity of 29000.
So you would assume supporters in middle section of Cobbold needing to move, unless part of lower SAR is used, as was done for West Ham in play offs 20 years ago. |

My Blackburn tickets arrived YESTERDAY!
11 days after the match.
They'd been ordered 2 weeks before the game, but I started to get a bit twitchy 2 days before the match so rang the club to arrange for duplicates to be collected at Blackburn.
This back up plan worked really well.
So, 2 questions.
Is this further proof that Royal Mail is broken.
Should the club consider alternative methods for delivery of tickets? |

Up early as can't sleep. I've been watching Town since 1972 and have been to most home games, each season since then. I've had season tickets apart from the early years, standing on the East terrace.
My away attendance has been more sporadic with a few exceptions. eg 1992-93, 37/42 games attended.
Today is only my 3rd away of the season, lightweight compared to some of you diehards.
However, I'm so excited whilst tense at the same time. Finally a memorable season after so many mediocre or dire ones.
It's been a long week waiting for today. Come on Town, let's get this job done! |
