This appointment would be a step backwards. I stopped going when we had the McCarthy dross football. I have returned to be entertained with the ball on the deck,..too tippy tippy at times however, a huge improvement. Also if this appointment is made, why was this not put into place as soon as Mr Cook was dismissed to achieve continuity. The man is out of work why have references to clandestine meetings? Mr Ashton this will see smaller crowds, further under achievement, dirty tactics, ball in the air, we are scarred by memories of Millwall under this man. Mr. Ashton don't make this appointment you will regret this and be remembered for getting rid of a good manager and replacing with a lesser manager who failed. |

PL, the League one...proper division 3....table does not lie. Mid table very average pitch antics led by a very average leader. PL will not achieve without Culverhouse beside him. Mr Lambert, it is clear the management team is dis-functional and very deluded. Remove the scarf and see the evidence. Either bring in Culverhouse or clear your desk for Mr Dyer and Butcher |
| News Comment | Hurst: Probably Our Poorest Performance of the Season at 21:36:59
Mr Hirst sadly has to be a statistic of our past managers. The decision to ask him to leave has to be taken this month to enable the clause in his contract to be auctioned avoiding compensation payments. Why wait for further evidence that he is unable to fulfil his role. Promote, Mr Nash before others put him on their pay roll. It's not a hard decision there's no improvement no morale and what's more no idea. |

Very happy that I won't have to endure the pain of watching dross for the next three months. When the season resumes please please can Middlesborough or Sunderland argue over a contract for MM services. |

Mr Evans, I do hope that you have questioned Micks tactics and not escaped the reality that you are directing a vortex down the plug hole. I really do not trust the leadership including MM, why? when the season ticket renewals were being considered did we not have a sales pitch of younger players being used as in the last couple of games and a promise that they will be introduced more and more. The promise and offers of players that were never ever going to be signed as is the case again now with Ward from Rotherham all simply lies and deception. Soon that same sales pitch will be repeated for 2017/18 season. A close wise older friend whom has been a fantastic supporter and shareholder for many many years has turned his back on the club management on and off the pitch. He has refused to attend since last Christmas when it became clear to numerous fans that there was no Intetion to play FOOTball. Whilst the menu is bland and testeless he refuses to return. Not fickle, he can afford to renew he does not want to support the management that promotes poor business decisions and poor football displays. He is one of many fans not wanting to be enticed into demonstrations or negative noises from the stands to the players. They have simply walked away from the turnstile in there only way of administering there discontent. Will I renew? The sense of community in our area of sitting is becoming more sparse at each home game. The atmosphere of community been the only reason for renewing this season, so for next season? Without ambition to play FOOTball and further loss of bums on seats in our section of the Cobbold stand, the spark to renew will be extinguished. Waiting for a relighting when the menu has been changed. Who to own.No one can speculate. As for the McCarthy there are some very eligible names in the lower leagues and those with premiership experience currently available. |
