If anything it is a foul by Gordon who is a particularly slimy cheat.
I believe in the principle of VAR, but decisions like that make me despair. |

There was a very good article in the Guardian last week, about the unstoppable growth of the plastic fan.
The thrust of the argument, with which I disagree, was that football has to go that way, so stop trying to fight it, and that without the plastic fan revenues, big clubs will not be able to keep growing (which would be fine by me.) |

It was a great song, one of the finest ever written, but even before that was released, they were a very good band.
Saw them live at Woods in Colchester in the Spring of 1974, a cracking show. |

My grandmother used to get furious with people who didn't bother to vote. She only got the vote when she was 28 years of age.
Personally I think that voting should be compulsory, as in Australia, although there are possible downsides..... |

Leeds seem to lose to lesser teams often enough to give us hope.

The decision by Gove and his fool of an assistant, Dominic Cummings, to scrap Building Schools for the Future, as soon as the Tories got into power in 2010 was idiotic, even by the dim witted standards of this government [Post edited 10 Jan 23:15]

I think that BA and Ryanair get something of a bad rap, because they speak our language.
For me, nothing compares to the staff rudeness I had to put up flying Air France business class across the Atlantic, or the sheer tight-fisted miserableness of KLM long haul.
Mind you, the major US airlines are pretty grim. |

I'm not sure that most of the teams in the Allsvenskan are any better than League One tbh.
I went back to watch Helsingborgs at home to AIK last season. They got relegated from the Allsvenskan, but they looked as if they would get relegated from League One |
