Bluearmy 81. I was making the point that there are teams such as bury, and Bolton if you like, who have financially struggled and have gone bust or close to going bust. Also why shouldn't Mr Evans be called mr?! At least show the bloke some respect by referring to him as Mr, after all isn't he the person that took Ipswich out of administration and is putting his money into the club to keep it afloat? |

Simply not good enough for promotion this season I'm afraid. Those saying 100 points and 100 goals at start of the season must be feeling a little silly now. We do not look streetwise or physically strong enough for the league, as shown by us being bullied by Rotherham recently. Not scoring enough goals and not looking likely to score goals either puts pressure on the defence, which as shown is suspect at times. Those calling for Evans to go. Replace with who? Sell the club, are we a profitable investment for a prospective buyer? No. May be that we need to sell our so called prized assets, I.e. Downes and woolfenden, in the summer to then recruit lower league cheap options and / or look at our academy. May be that we're looking at another season or two in this league. Look at bury fc, at least we have a club to support.... |

Excellent. We do tend to save our best performances for the sky cameras. Hoping game also is played week after international break coz we do play really well after international breaks. Oh and our record against Norwich bodes well. Anything good on BBC at that time? |

Never like to see someone get sacked but this was ultimately the correct decision. Appears that this job came too soon for hursts career as manager and he was out of his depth. However an equally large part of the blame has to be with the players as well who have simply not been good enough. Makes me laugh that a manager can get the sack but the players who are equally not performing will stay at the club and will be given a second chance by the new manager?! If Evans is looking for championship experience I would go for Steve Bruce. Although will Evans fork out money on Bruce's wages......? Interesting January window coming up as town need to invest. Will Evans splash the cash.......doubtful |

Questions to ask Mr Hurst; 1) Please explain why the club's best player (Bart) for the past three seasons and arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the league plus a goalkeeper who went to the World Cup 2018, currently finds himself sitting on the bench. 2) Please explain why an international full-back who went to the World Cup 2018 currently finds himself on the bench. 3) Please explain why you continue to persist with a formation of playing 1 up front, which clearly is not working. 4) Please explain the training regime that occurs during international breaks as both matches that have followed these international breaks the team has played sh**e. 5) Please explain the fitness regime as the team looks jaded. Where is this fit, hardworking team that was promised at the start of the season? I could go on....... |

Hurst is a tactical genius. The way he puts a random selection of eleven players on the pitch week in week out, would suggest that he does not know his best starting eleven. No. The way Hurst dropped the club's best player for the past 3 seasons and replaced him with a man whose surname is what most folk chuck out of their hamburger, may suggest Hurst hasn't got a clue. No. The way Hurst continued to play 1 up front when the team were not scoring may suggest his tactical brain is non existent. No. Hurst has his win. Hurst is a happy hurst. |
