|Thanks to gerard1947, I have spent this weekend visiting the graveside|

of my great uncle Harold Henry Easy. He died of wounds and is buried in Esqeulbecq France where we are staying. I had no idea where he was buried a month ago and I believe I am the first family member to ever have visited him.He died 5/5/1918, so I was able to be here for his 100 yr anniversary. Gerard pointed me in the right direction on here, so thank you.
Yesterday we drove to Thiepval where another great uncle by marriage, John Crosse was killed at battle of the Somme.
Previously, I had little knowledge of WW1 battles and all I can say is that it a very moving experience and one I will never forget. So glad I came.

I was on holiday last week in a a place called El Gouna in Egypt, a beautiful place that I have visited many times. It has a great Sports Bar there, with the ceiling covered in Football Club flags and shirts dotted around the walls.
Well this time I took my beloved Town shirt, which was put in a display case on the wall (replacing a battered, faded old baseball shirt that had been there for years). Bright blue and white, It looked great.
Have any of you left a Town shirt in an obscure place ,and if so where?
|Anyone else remember going to watch Town|

And never thinking that we couldn't win the game? The better the opposition, the more likely we were to win.
Now tho, I expect at best a dull draw
I never get to feel that excited anticipation which used to be the norm and when I go to PR now it feels like I'm resigned to watching my team play boring, no-flair-football.
Like going on a long slow amble with no interesting scenery on the way.
COME ON EVANS, DO SOMETHING!
