I'd happily donate too. There was a group of total Neanderthals, lads possibly teenagers on my train back, going to London, the 15.18 from Cardiff Central I think carriage C. One was a kid in the classic naff fake Burberry scarf and a cap. They were loud, drunk and obscene, talking about a fight of some sort, I had my 8-year-old grandson with me going to his second game and it was lamentable. I've been through the 70s and we just don't need these scum these days. Maybe there was CC TV at the garage on that corner. Hope they get done, they bring shame on the club. |

As I’ve said elsewhere, I don’t understand why he didn’t bring Travis on to help protect the lead - otherwise, why have him? We can be too obsessively wedded to the all-out attack mode and I think we need a better balance to that. But hopefully we can learn from this and move forward. And I do love the way we go at teams. But I fear that as in the Joe Royle era we’ve conceded too many goals to get an automatic place and may be shot down in the play-offs by a scummy team that finishes many points below us. |

Sorry, to clarify, he made 5 subs. I just think it would have been better to put Travis in, maybe rather than Taylor who did little, or directly for Moore on 89’. |

I agree that it’s crazy to say in hindsight! But Kieran himself has pointed out that we lose a key defensive player of set plays when we take Moore off (something that’s sometimes overlooked) and clearly he was knackered. And Travis has presumably been brought in for his solid defensive capabilities. So by all means put attacking players on as subs but Travis as one of 4 subs (could have been 5) might have been a tad sensible before the 90-minute mark and may be important in other games. |

The iniquities of Championship football and the abhorrent influence of the EPL there for all to see. None of the broadcasters will highlight this because they need the rights to show the football. |

Praise to Liam Manning, one of our own. If he's given time, he could do alright there. |

I thought Sarmiento had one of his best appearances for us, but I think he's a better sub than starter. In other games his tackling has been poor, at Swansea he had a poor half in the rain, needs good conditions. But he was great tonight, long may it continue. |

I am utterly drained, exhausted, wrung out. This is not good for me at my age. Almost every game is tight. But it's all rather wonderful and if it knocks a few years off me, so be it. |

God, what a night! Let's face it, McKenna is a genius and gets the best out of the whole squad of players! |
| Forum Reply | Chappers - you have to admire the way he placed at 18:11 2 Mar 2024
I’ve got to say that, from my view directly behind the goal and on the Sky highlights it looks like Moore gets the deflection - but happy to be corrected. He was an absolute monster today - what a signing! |

Mate, I'm 67, I don't have 30 years to give away, definitely can't go through that again |

I’m amazed you think any of that list apart from Holland come close to what Morsy does for the team |

Today was another great battling performance from the whole squad including the subs. But what struck me again was the key role Morsy plays in all this. He is our Captain Fantastic, combative and on the edge of yellow cards (!) but the beating heart of this Ipswich Town side. In previous times Town was often known as a soft touch. Not any more. This guy is so so important to us. |

Agree with this. I thought he was excellent first half and clearly developing well under McKenna but second half was guilty of trying to take on too many defenders too often. And looked tired. |
