I could see him going to Newcastle in the summer which would be sad - he's a very good player - and for over £20m would not be the worst decision for us if he wanted to leave.
On the other hand, McKenna would find trying to manage those prima donna Premiership players a relative nightmare. I'm sure he's too sensible to leave us for a few years yet. Besides, we supply the best England Managers. |

Not often do I come away from us winning 4-3 at home without feeling elated! That was all too close for comfort with real concerns about our shaky defence.
The way we play there will be matches like this. However, I still believe that Walton should have a run in goal and Edmundson should take over from Woolfenden.

I I like Woolfie, but agree with Cloddyseedbed - Woolfie needs to be rested. He's become overconfident and vulnerable and needs to work on his speed. That first goal conceded against WBA......oh dear!
Woolfie can come back stronger and sharper.

Many coming to realise at last that George Hirst is our most under rated player (marked at an average of only 6.58). He's strong and a handful for any defender trying to mark him, and greats space for our several goal scorers .
