| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Derby County - Match Report at 12:40:05
Don't normally post on here and haven't been to a match much since giving up my season ticket during the MM era. Great to hear that the team played some entertaining football last night. I would happily return to PR (don't really care what league we are in) if this is a taste of things to come. |
| News Comment | Manchester United 3-0 Town - Match Report at 22:17:04
Disappointed for the fans who travelled all that way to watch our second team get beaten. True reflection on English football I'm afraid..... the club obviously thinks more of the Premier League than they do their own fans?? |
| News Comment | Norwich City 3-1 Town (4-2 on Aggregate) at 14:48:11
Don't normally post on here but would like to thank MM and TC for bringing us back to where we are. One single incident turned the whole tie and even then we showed the character that MM has instilled in the team, to get back on terms. Gutted to lose once again to the scum..... I really thought that this time it was going to be our turn. Onwards towards promotion next season........ |
| News Comment | Town Confirm McCarthy Manager at 12:50:19
The best news we fans have received since the appointment of BFJ IMO. Now let him do his job and get us out of this mess..... looking forward again to the East Anglian derby next season!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | Jewell Delighted With Performance As Well As Win at 13:02:51
Don't know if its a reflection on how bad we've been in the past but i've really enjoyed the last few games. What a breath of fresh air the youngsters bring... really want to play for the club and have transformed our midfield. Must keep Leadboots out of the team IMO if we are to maintain this upward trend. Thought Lee Martin was outstanding last night, along with Hyam and Drury. Jewel got things right by leaving well alone until Chops tired towards the end. Now optimistic about a mid table finish!! |
| News Comment | Jewell Not Getting Carried Away at 13:40:17
The dark days under RK are surely now a distant memory. With this squad, and avoiding injuries, top two is definitely achievable. Make all loans permanent where possible and the happy days are bound to continue. The final piece in the jigsaw...... 26k + in PR for every home match!! |
| News Comment | Jewell: We Would Have Lost Earlier in the Season at 13:05:08
Agree with most posts here.... a bit late to post but would like to say that my optimism is returning. What a great game and result! IMO the squad now looks the best on paper that we've had for many years.... PJ needs to work hard on making all loans permanent where possible. |
| News Comment | Norris: I\'ve Never Played in Worse Conditions at 13:31:43
I don't have a problem with Chuck as captain..... leads by example and always gives 110% every match. Great result on Saturday an one that we desperately needed to stop the rot. Perhaps that little piece of luck (match wasn't abandoned) is what we needed to turn our season back to something we can all be a little bit proud of!! |
| News Comment | Keane Again Bemoans Lack of Goals at 21:12:31
I really hope that I'm wrong but I agree with those who think Keane is only here as the high profile p(m)uppet to front the ME Corporate Logo. If ME thinks he can make more money indirectly from media air play than he would through promotion then I fear we are in for a long hard winter under RK. There's no real point in commenting on the recent performances as its already been said..... but I for one, can't remember a more depressing time in the 45 years that I've been supporting our great proud club. |
| News Comment | Arsenal Dates Set at 13:42:31
Agree with Mark, all those who attended and thoroughly enjoyed the two previous cup matches (well WBA anyway) should be given a loyalty discount!! Looking forward to Arsenal........... |
