I’ll remember Cotter for his cameo v Barnsley! I watched Chris Wood play for Forest at the weekend and completely forgot he was here. Also, didn’t we have Rory fallen for a bit? How about N’Daw Aaron McLean and Steven Taylor too. [Post edited 9 Apr 20:16]

Agree, there have been some good ones. Williams v Preston at home? Not just the goal, he was everywhere that day. Harness cameo v Birmingham away? Morsy and Hladky have a few nominations. Maybe Morsy’s best game was against Watford, and Hladky’s against Huddersfield? |

Agreed. After Broadhead got the late equaliser for Wales in Croatia last year, he came back full of confidence for the last month of the season. Burns is more of a concern. He seems to get injured as soon as he puts a wales shirt on! |

| Forum Reply | You are both McKenna and Ashton. Which striker do you target? at 19:11 3 Jan 2024
I’d guess at player A and player B - if player B is 25 or younger. We likely need two strikers. Player C feels he would be disruptive. Not worth the risk. Same with player D regarding injury. With Hirst already out, feels a risk for a January signing. |

The few times this was sung, there was also some who followed it up with chants of ‘United’. Although I’d say it was only a handful. I think most of the Wednesday abuse came from their own fans! Understand their frustrations but made our job much easier. |

You seem in the minority here, what is your specific perspective? Brentford seem to be putting fans before money. They get the money either way, but this system encourages more fans to attend (either themselves or passing it on to another fan). |

I agree, but it seems not everyone does. Think what annoyed me last season was two or three ‘kids’ crammed into our row, then loudly claimed that they’d had to already move once because of an ‘allocated seat w*nker’. The idea of someone wanting to sit in the seat they paid for makes them unreasonable I guess. |
| Forum Thread | Allocated seats at 19:14 23 Jul 2023
I was at Stevenage yesterday and someone lost their temper a little about someone sitting in their allocated seat. Seen a little on twitter about this, most seem to think the person complaining about it was in the wrong. I think I’m getting old, as I found it frustrating last season when a load of people came in and stood/sat where they wanted. Maybe it’s just the entitlement of the youth that annoys me though! |

Think peoples perspective may be generational. For me, that Utd ‘99 team was one of the best club teams I’d seen as missed the Liverpool teams of the 80’s. For me- Schmeichel Walker- Stam- Dias- Irwin Beckham- Keane- De Bruyne- Scholes- Giggs Haaland |

I think he’ll start Harness. McKenna has commented that it takes players a little time to get up to speed with our patterns of play. Davis may be an example of why not to throw him in as he struggled his first couple of games, possibly linked to jet lag as well. Also, I don’t think Harness has been very effective coming off the bench this season. He’s better when he starts. It seems to take him time to get up to speed with the game and he can give the ball away too much when at that time you are either wanting possession to chase the game or contain the opposition. If he didn’t start Harness, I’d prefer Edwards or Aluko on the bench as they are more likely to make an instant impact. I agree that everyone is seeming really up for it today. COYB. |
