So I have got a concert I want to go to in London on the weekend of the Norwich away match and the 2 dates for the concert are either Saturday 6th April or Sunday 7th April.
The Norwich away match is obviously not going to be at 3pm on 6th April but do you think the fixture will be re-arranged to lunchtime on Saturday or be moved to the Sunday?
Unbelievably blinkered views from what are becoming the worst fans in this league.
Had it been the other way around they would have been calling for a longer match ban for one of our players.
It's amazing how quickly it's forgotten that they were lucky to get a draw against us in the Hillsborough fixture because the assistant referee was too scared to flag for a blatant offside due to all of the coin throwing at the officials from their fans throughout the game.
Speaking of which, has anything actually been done by the EFL about the fan disruption during this fixture?
Also, Mark Ashton will be doing the player negotiations and he doesn't officially start until 1st June so whilst I am sure he has been involved in some talks on the players we want to sign it is probable that he is not allowed to do any negotiations until he officially starts as our CEO.
A great band and Richard Hawley's solo output is even better. Saw him at the Corn Exchange - moved from The Regent because he didn't sell enough tickets. Whereas the non-talent that is Peter Andre sold out two nights at The Regent!
... says it all about why we are in the state we are in:
"During a break in play for an injury, Crewe boss David Artell gathered his players is issued animated instructions. Ipswich players, by contrast, milled about as individuals while Lambert and assistant Stuart Taylor leant back against the advertising hoardings. It wasn't a sight which filled you with confidence."
Agree that playing 1 up front can work in well coached teams with pace, but the worry is that we play ponderous tippy tappy football with this formation giving the opposition plenty of time to set up their defence.
& more worrying is that the one striker Lambert persisted with for most of the match is, in his own words - 'a young lad who has still got much to learn'!
... when has this ever worked & what does Lambert see which makes him think this is a great tactic?
A great manager is someone who can react to what is going on on the pitch & change tactics to get the best out of their team & counteract what the opposition is doing.
We must be the easiest team to set up against as we always play the same formation & you can easily predict the team & formation before every single game.
When was the last time we actually played exciting, attacking football?
Q: Watson : Q: There’s been a report this week that there is a ‘mutiny’ in the camp, that players aren’t happy. Can you address those reports please?
A: Well, I'm pretty sure you can ask any player. I’ve never had a fall-out. I have a laugh with them, I never have any arguments with them, as such. I tell them when I don’t think they’re doing well.
There's a tweet and you guys believe it. I can’t do anything about that.
If Lambert doesn't read any of the criticism or care about anything which is reported, how did he know that this was a tweet? Surely honest Paul isn't a liar is he?
