Nice to see her on Sky Sports News, rather than just a few appearances on Soccer Saturday every week. Have to say Michelle is nicer on the eyes than even the recently departed Natalie Sawyer and Kirstie Gallagher. |
| Forum Thread | Knighthood on the way at 10:15 30 May 2018
I just posted on my own facebook page that Paul Hurst will follow in the footsteps of the best 2 England managers that Ipswich have produced in gaining a knighthood in years to come. Should get a few replies from my mates.lol Had one so far and the word deluded was mentioned and that was from a Man Utd fan!! |

Wonderful insight on how these type of people brains work or don't work. He has been covering The Championship for a few years now and yet came out with the classic dumbass line today. Whilst commenting on the Bristol City vs Brentford game, a Bristol City player cleared the ball off the line. Cottee is his wisdom said 'it looked over the line but we will never know as they don't have goalline technology in the Championship yet' Clueless Cottee! Also in the studio was Ian Dowie and he seemed to enjoy the Ipswich game, although he was clearly hoping Millwall won. |

Disgraceful headbutt on Michael Maddison. Don't know how Maddison got up from that.lol |
| Forum Thread | Thoughts on last night at 11:39 5 Apr 2017
Only my third home game of this season, but been lucky to see 4-2 and 3-0 wins and a 1-1 draw. The one player who impressed me the most last night was Diagouraga, won most battles in midfield and looked to pass the ball forward whenever he could, a far better player than Skuse/Douglas in that role. Our keeper was again superb, best shot stopper in the league I'm sure. Defence looked ok apart from the odd lapse, Kenlock good on the ball, but he must learn to hoof it clear when needed, twice he got caught out, second one led to his booking. Midfield was ok, nice to see them looking to go forward rather than sideways or back all the time. Sears and McGoldrick looked lively all game, confidence clearly came back after they both scored early on. Some say Wigan gifted us all 3 goals, but I prefer to say we contributed to that by winning the ball back by harrowing their defenders to giving us the ball for all 3 goals. Crowd although low, gave decent support throughout and where we sat I didn't here any criticising the players or manager etc. Final word, a big thankyou to the 2 stewards (Gary and Dave) in the Cobbold Stand upper tier block C, who helped my 89 year old Dad up and down the stand steps before and after the game, which helped make our trip to Portman Road last night a very enjoyable one indeed. Hope to be back next season! |
| Forum Thread | Unbeaten Run at 08:56 18 Mar 2017
Am I right in thinking that we are now closer to the relegation places than we were at the start of our 8 match unbeaten run? Shows that going on a decent unbeaten run isn't so good if 90% of those games are draws. 1 win and 7 draws, is less points than 4 wins and 4 defeats. Which would we prefer? Next two home games that are in the space of 4 days are huge, minimum 4 points required I reckon, more so if we lose today. |

Which one of them showed the correct Colchester goal in their news programmes tonight in their game at Cambridge? It was a 1-1 draw yet they showed different Colchester goals! |
