Hearing we've also stepped up our efforts on him. This striker signing we all want to support Hirst is a difficult one. They have to come in knowing they may not be an immediate starter but can contribute from the bench and eventually start on a rotation basis. This makes it a hard sell for most high-level forwards IMO. Kone would surely see it as a big step up though. |

Deal off. Magnificent news all round. Especially if we get Hackney. Full of excellent young English talent. Still worry that Forest may come in for Omari but it seems like KMac has worked his magic. |

Surely we didn't anticipate losing 3/4s of our first team backroom staff this summer?! |

Joining on-loan from Reims, with a £4.5m obligation if promoted. |

Now 1/6 on to be the new Brentford boss... Anything approaching 1/10 is effectively a done deal in terms of weight of money I'd say. EDIT: 1/9 offered now at Paddy's. I imagine someone with Irish links there knows something (hopefully!) [Post edited 13 Jun 12:00]

Napoli using him as a makeweight to sign Kenneth Taylor. [Post edited 5 Jun 9:28]

 | Forum Thread | Academy issues? at 12:54 27 May 2025
Tweet by the ITKer/sh*t stirrer on X 'misssuffolkblue': "Suffolk lad and ex ITFC coach. Interesting appointment, but bigger news on the horizon when one of our greatest coaches is set to join them as well to work in their academy after numerous fall outs with Ashton over the lack of funding into our academy". Lack of funding into academy? How does that compute with a Category 1 bid? And who is the 'greatest coach'?! EDIT: Initial sentence is talking about Manning to the scum. [Post edited 27 May 12:57]

 | Forum Thread | Palmer at 11:52 21 Apr 2025
I seemed to be the only one in the NSL bemoaning Palmer for the first goal yesterday. Am I the only one on here who thought he was criminally slow in getting down to the shot? Morsy's ice-cold glare at him suggested he felt Palmer should've done much better too. There seems to be a real love-in with Palmer among the fans (simply because he's not Muric, perhaps?) But I can't really see much difference between him and Walton IMO. |

At risk of breaking her own borrowing rules within the space of six months. Oh for a government with a semblance of financial acumen and honesty. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. |

Nugget of info I've received. We're very keen on him. Been watching him like a hawk while keeping taps on Humphreys and even came close to bidding in January. Apparently, it's possible that we sell Al-Hamadi and use those funds to put towards a bid for Kone. Hirst, Kone and one other would be an athletic front line for the Championship. |

Has to be one of our priorities for centre mid in the summer. A real powerhouse. We sniffed around last summer so hopefully he'd still fancy us. |
 | Forum Thread | No patterns of play at 21:25 26 Feb 2025
Nothing. No movement. Vision. Bravery through the lines. Aggression in the tackle. Even Casemiro smashed Johnson in a 50/50 FFS. McKenna's subs always feel too little, too late. |
 | Forum Thread | 2-2 at HT against 10 men... at 21:03 26 Feb 2025
And we've shat the bed. I hope this thread makes me look silly in half an hour, but we've looked clueless against their ten men. So reluctant to grab the bull by the horns. F00king give it some lads FFS. |
 | Forum Thread | O'Shea and Greaves at 10:04 24 Feb 2025
Do we think that's a partnership with long-term potential? If I'm honest, I appear to be hugely in the minority regarding O'Shea, who I'm still on the fence with. As committed and wholehearted as he is, I feel like his technical ability and positioning leave quite a bit to be desired. I can't help feeling neither O'Shea or Greaves thrive being the 'leader' and would do better with a more experienced head alongside them. Could be a very different story with them in the Championship, of course. |

We should be frothing at the mouth to sign him at that price. Ideal competition for Delap. |
