My mother-in-law is a senior nurse at a local surgery. She told my wife last night that her surgery - and many others in the region - have been warned to expect considerable side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine. I'm not quite sure what they are, but the surgery was also told as many as 25% of their workforce could be off at once with ill-effects from the vaccine.
No-one in the media seems to have touched upon the side effects? Either way, next year's going to be a logistical nightmare.

Explains the interest in Jonson Clarke-Harris too.
Sell Jackson for £2m and buy Clarke-Harris (£500-600k) and Charlie Wyke (£300k) and pocket the rest. We get a like-for-like replacement who is perhaps even more prolific than Jackson, as well as an additional physical presence up top. Seems like good business to me.

If I'm honest, I don't think Norwood has ever been fully fit at all this season. Especially after his first surgery, it felt like he was always playing with the handbrake on. This latest groin problem reinforces that.
Whichever league we're in next year, we'll be benefit much more from having a fully-fit Norwood on our books.

Too many players in the squad are happy to accept mediocrity and their ambition has been hammered out of them through the years.
The squad needs new voices in the dressing room, as too much rhetoric is simply going in one ear and out the other.

What a hideous club we've become. Dull, dreary and lacking in life.
Football akin to Jaap Staam's early reign at Reading i.e. passing football with a team that simply deal with the ball like a hot potato - it's not working.
Evans has sucked the quality, fun and pride out of this club. That's it for me. Not renewing my ST after 25 years, I say with a tear in the eye.

No plan, no tempo, no creativity.
Just throwing our so-called best 11 on the pitch and hoping it will work is arrogant and naive. At least with Wycombe their fans know what they will get each week. We have no cohesion or partnerships all over the pitch.
Only PL to blame for that surely?

The match was originally called off for international call ups to Georgiou Downes, Judge, Dobra and Dozzell....none whom actually played a minute last night.

I thought the North Stand were somewhat pitiful on Saturday, save for a 15-minute spell after our penalty. I get the feeling looking around the NSL that everyone's just turning up and expecting to win because of our good start, but teams are always going to raise their game playing at PR.
I hope and pray that a night game under the lights can encourage people to be more vocal tomorrow night. A performance and victory in the manner of our win over Derby in the 14-15 campaign would set the tone for the next month or so over Christmas.

Worry less about your sodding accumulators and trotting out inane cliches like "our season being in disarray" after last night's loss and focus on providing some vocal support to the team.

I think a career as a pianist would be better suited for him.
Nice guy, keen to get involved in the community. But he has a worrying knack of draining confidence from all who play around him. Awful first touch and was made to look exceptionally slow today.
To think Hurst signed him to play as a regular in the league above...
