I'm totally and utterly proud of this club. The trajectory it's been on is like night and day. But to let good teams like Leicester and Leeds off the hook not once, but twice, just leaves a nagging feeling.
Will two wins and a draw be enough? Because I think that's the best we can hope for. It smells like goal difference heartache to me. I'm sure I'll snap out of it in a day or so, but football. Bloody football.

Had minor hernia surgery yesterday. Fortnight recovery expected. That could be interesting, they've had real issues with their number 10 role prior to Rutter nailing it down. Piroe made a hash of it. Hopefully his absence is enough to take them off their game going forward. |

My area of Mid Suffolk is now available for Trooli's full-fibre connectivity. I believe they're active in much of Mid-West Suffolk. Just wondered if anyone has signed up yet and what they think of the service re. uptime levels/customer support? |

That 3rd goal, he was 2 yards out at the far post. Could've easily tried to nod it in himself, but instead knew a teammate was better-placed and teed up Broady. Marvellous. He's proving an excellent focal point for this team and even if he finishes the campaign on 8-9 goals, he'll have proved his worth multiple times over. |

Stuart Webber has spent the last 24 hours publicly touting three of the Budgies' better players. When a CEO/Sporting Director talks up values of players, you know things are looking bleak, much in the same way that MacAnthony's doing at Peterborough.

Toes and fingers crossed he was left out yesterday as a precaution. There is something amiss in our two tens when he doesn't play. The link-up play between Hirst and Harness was non-existent at times. Harness really does play on a different wavelength to this team. Edwards is an enigma and showed flashes once again, but not enough to bang McKenna's door down to start against Charlton.
If Broadhead's fit for our final 6 games, I think we go up top 2, it's that simple IMO. |
