Whilst all the nagers on are annoying...
The actual biggest objectionable thing is the endless mis use of the phrase "bringing it home".
Its as if no one actually was around when that song came out, and therefore completely miss the fact that "football's coming home" was about the tournament coming to England after all those years. It was NEVER about winning the trophy and bringing the trophy home. Winning will not "bring it home". What a load of bollox.
Made worse by the fact that this mis-use has become the received meaning throughout Europe and lots of foreign supports now think its a display of English arrogance; i.e. that the trophies belong here because we are special and the best, despite plainly not having been so for a very long time. |

Great ball out to Trippier, pops it inside, then doesnt run for the 1-2, which was on. Ends up going backwards and landing Guehi with a yellow. All because he is on the wrong side. |

Mostly crap ofc.
But is it me or are the bbc failing to provide a proper clear website listing? Loads of channels showing different stuff. I just want a list of whats on now so I can pick. Have I missed it somewhere?
I do need to pay closer attention to PJ Harvey. Have thought that for decades but never taken the plunge until last week when I bought an LP on a whim. Enjoyed her little sing song. |

We might be solid and sneak something in the next round but that was atrocious.
With some genuinely top end players, we have emerged with no tactics, no shape, no patterns of play, no tactical insight, no incisiveness and are an utter embarrassment.
I can't remember a decent chance. With Germany's top scorer by a mile, and ballon d'or favourite Bellingham, etc etc etc. It is an utter lack of positive insightful management. [Post edited 25 Jun 21:56]
