In the home end at Valley Parade, I've seen a man throw a live chicken in the air to celebrate a goal - namely the first in their 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the league cup semi final 2 years ago that was a sell out.
Frankly I don't think their stewards are strenuous enough |

I live in Leeds and occasionally go to Elland road with friends (if Ipswich aren't playing oop north) and I can at this stage confirm that I've never seen any Japanese tourists posing by the Billy Bremner statue or hanging around the charming district of Beeston after the game to hurl stones at away fans.
I believe they may be confusing themselves with their slightly more successful neighbours in red, roughly 35 miles west down the M62.
But then again, that's none of my business |
