Given the context, I think this just demonstrates the level that Mckenna's on!
Periodisation is simply a process of dividing the annual training plan into a series of manageable phases (mesocycles). Each phase can then target a specific or series of attributes to be developed within a designated period of time. Periods of appropriate overload and recovery are designated within each phase.
Looks like he has some quality, with genuine pace. Also has the ability to connect with other players which is great. £2.5 seems a little steep but in PH we trust.

Personally, I can't wait to see what Nolan can do for us. Feel like we've been missing someone like this for a long time. Might take a while to adjust but is exactly the sort of player we should be going after
Seems to come inside for most of his goals/assists. Fast, quick feet, chases the ball down, can spot a pass and has a good shot on him....what's not to like?
Hey guys - don't often post but wanted to put my two cents in on today, and my (just my) thoughts from a wider perspective.
We played as well as would have hoped today. Up against a team that were comfortable moving the ball around, we played a style of football that, while not always exciting, is absolutely the best chance we have to get points on the board.
There's a reason that even the Goliath's of football can't guarantee their (naive) owners titles - and that's because pretty football played by world class players simply doesn't always work. Teams that play ugly, attritional football always have a chance of getting results against teams that are far superior on paper. And while I really do hate watching us playing an ugly, attritional style of football - it's the sole reason that we've gone from struggling near the relegation zone, to challenging for the playoff for a third of the season, and top 2 for another third.
And let's be honest, while most of us are still moaning - it's more fun moaning about falling out of the play-off positions that it is about dropping into the bottom 3...
I'm not agreeing with everything Mick does - personally, the idea of the two DMs, Sears, Bishop, Stewart, Mings etc in a 4-3-3 / 5-3-2 excites me - He's done an unbelievable, genuinely unbelievable, job over the last couple of years.
And for those talking about Evans, investing in players etc, just have a proper read through our account (links below)...they're awful. Truly. We're in no position to spend to promote, we need a savvy management creating a real team of players that constantly punch above their weight...like the one we have.
