Former Striker Rhodes Linked
Clearly Rhodes has ability, but definitely lacks that vital acceleration over the first five yards.
He might, despite that, do a very useful job next season - if he is prepared to move down to League 1.
Lovely article and great comments.
All I would add is that he kicked the ball out of the ground more than any other player, mostly over the Cobbold Stand. "If you're not sure kick it out" was definitely his belief.

Yes, but the big question is who did Ed Sheeran want to win.
Ted's Greatest Game 1962 Win at Spurs
Yes, this breaking the net is genuine. A former work colleague of mine was in goal for Harwich and Parkeston in a pre-season friendly against ITFC. He had to face a Ted Phillips penalty. He swears he didn't see it, and yes, it did break the net. No placing the penalty with Ted! Whack.
Milton: It Had to Be Something Amazing to Take Me Away From Town
My son, a Junior Blue at the time, got Milts' autograph the first match after he signed - he wasn't playing, of course. He was so nice with the kids and adult fans.
He remains the best player ever in the pre-match warm-up at shooting.
Simon is a good man, and I'm sure all true Ipswich fans wish him all the very best in his African venture.
McCarthy: Emmanuel Could Make Debut at Brentford
Modern misuse of the word legend. Haynes is not a legend. Scoring a couple of goals against Norwich does not a legend make. A legend is someone who has been so outstandingly good that you can hardly believe it can have been true.
Crawford, Philips, Beattie, Wark, Muhren, Stewart - they are legends.
