Just been sentenced to 12 months in prison in Belgium for hitting someone with a rock. Hadn't heard anything about this tbh but a huge blow for QPR. Think he's out of contract this summer. This probably explains why he hasn't moved to a bigger club |

Saw today that Norwich are introducing this next season. I hope we follow suit. |

Given that Ball and Humphreys are never going to provide the same attacking width as Clarke and Davis, I wonder whether Sarmiento and Hutchinson should have swapped flanks, so that we tried to go around the back of their defence rather than constantly going into the middle of the pitch where Maidstone had committed so many bodies. Although his end product was off we looked far more balanced when Burns came on. That felt like Cheltenham or Lincoln at home all over again. I’m seriously disappointed that we still seem to struggle against teams that defend narrow like today |
| Forum Thread | Pop Up Adds at 19:35 3 Dec 2023
Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere. I read this site on my iPad. I’m being plagued by pop up adds that appear right in the middle of the page and are extremely fiddly to close down. Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of these? Thanks |

Being reported that 2 Peterborough players are being put on the transfer list hen their retained list is released tomorrow. Taylor and Edwards are the most likely candidates imho, so the Taylor move could be on. |

| Forum Thread | Idiots Guide to VPNs at 11:34 4 Nov 2021
Morning all As I have been working from home for the last 18 months and this arrangement is looking increasingly permanent, I decided to upgrade my laptop. I have been given a free trial of an Express VPN. I’m really not sure whether I need this long term so would appreciate some input. I use the laptop almost exclusively for work, which basically requires me to use a remote log in to access their server. I don’t use it for private browsing so if I use the internet I do it through their system. That said I did watch the Wycombe game on it and I have read somewhere that a VPN might allow me to access IFollow games which are usually out of bounds. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Does anybody know what, if any, the COVID requirements are for next Tuesday? I’m taking my lad and was wondering whether he’ll need to show a negative LFT. Thanks |

Sorry, but I haven’t worked out how to copy his tweets, but he has published today some tweets on finances in the Championship. Probably no great surprise but the reliance on owner finance is stark. It would also appear that in net terms we generate more income on player sales than the rest of the division. Make of that what you will. It’s worth a read. @swissramble |

Hi all My mum who still lives in town needs an electrician to do what I suspect is a fairly small job. She has asked me to recommend one, but I don’t know any in Ipswich. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks |

First up, isn’t it nice to wake up on Sunday morning with a massive grin on your face! In a nutshell a really tight 70 minutes followed by a mad last 20 or so. We were comfortable in the first half without seriously threatening the opposition bar a couple of long range efforts from Carayol. Bart had even less to do although Bodvarsson should have done better with a ball rolled across the six yard box. Muzzy’s injury seemed to sum up our season with our only real threat off the pitch. At half time it felt like one goal either way would win it and Reading came out on the front foot and penned us back without seriously testing Bart, bar one stunning tip over. So Waggy’s goal came as a bit of a surprise. I thought he looked offside but for once the decision went with us - about time to be honest. Spence’s goal killed the game and heralded the start of a 15 minutes spell that will have Mannone hiding under his duvet this morning. The 2 goals in stoppage time just put the finish on it. The truth is that we weren’t 4 goals better than them but I reckon our fans have been due something like this. A few random thoughts on the players. Wolfy...brilliant for his debut. Quick, good in the air, composed on the ball. I would have him in the team next season in a heartbeat. Nydam looks better with every game. Jury is out on Folami for me at present. He is an intelligent player, but is lightweight and I’m not sure that he is ready for the first team yet. He has time on his side. He could do with a loan out next season. Muzzy probably has played his last game for us. He could be an impact player for us but frankly we have enough injury concerns without signing another player who cannot stay fit. Finally it was great to see our fans happy. We are going to be very much a work in progress. Whatever people think of Mick he has left us in a better position than he found us. Let’s thank him for that and move onwards and hopefully upwards COYB! |
