no excuses for racism. He's a prick and deserves a lifetime ban. The days of "it was just a joke" etc are over. It's offensive & shames a club like ours. We don't need scumbags like that at the matches. |
| News Comment | Jewell Delighted With Fourth Win in a Row at 17:21:26
lee martin, lee martin so good they named hime twice! Best player on the pitch, by far, his work rate is superb............ I'll put my hands up and admit he wasn't my favourite until recently but he's knuckled down and he now leads by example. Well done Lee, take a bow for being the inspiration behind the clubs resurgence! |

Yep, another nail in the coffin I'm afraid, another "own goal" by supposed "shrewd" businessmen (sort of the same types that gave us the great economic crash of 08?). I stopped buying the shirts around 3 seasons ago. Poor quality, high prices & all for what? I bought a "retro" shirt in blue & white with short sleeves (aka Brazil, Mariner et al) for £19 in the shop sale and have worn that since......... you know it makes sense!! |

what about the "independent" supporters club? Set up some years ago outwith the traditional supporters club as an alternative to the exact problems highlighted here?? |

| News Comment | Wright Move After Millwall and QPR Interest at 11:51:41
I love Wrighty but.......... he b*ll*xed his career by going to Arsenal as a reserve with no chance of playing first team footy, presumably for the money? Whoever advised him to do that was an utter prick. You live & learn and RW is now learning he f*k*d up big time. Shame but he'll never be as good as he once promised to be. |
| News Comment | Jewell: Formation May Work Better Away at 09:02:18
Hmmm, does PJ have me brimming with confidence in the team he's bought after saying, “We had a few players who were off the pace, no doubt about that. We can talk formations all day long, it's about 11 players really.”??? That is the problem we've had at this club since losing the play offs to W Ham. I thought PJ had bought another team to get that attitude out of Town? Please let there be some light at the end of this tunnel.........I'm becoming seriously afraid now........... |

why oh why do the friendlies attract morons about 16 years old who behave like idiots? Are we Millwall in disguise? |
| News Comment | Bowyer Set to Sign Next Week at 13:56:24
98 yellows & 5 reds at the end of 2010. The most booked player in the premiership. If we've sunk so low as to hire a mercenary like that then this club's really at the bottom of its' voyage to oblivion............... |
| News Comment | Balcony Tickets for UEFA Cup Celebration Now On Sale at 10:49:07
ME ought to reward regular match goers with free entry to recompense them for the shocking seasons just past. £30 to sit & stare at some ex players (albeit legends and worth their status) is appaling.............................. use the money to pay off the "oil tanker" J Scotland............. |

| News Comment | Jewell: Town Face Competition for Bullard at 10:45:24
competion to sign bullard? no sh@t sherlock!! Damn obvious we wouldn't get him without a massive fight. Unfortunately the teams overall problems were once again highlighted at Leicester, No iron at the back (why we've extended Delaneys contract staggers me!) Mcauley & Norris won't be missed. Scotland staying on? We're seriously joking here, no? He's the most inept front man in the league. No. Only a mass clear out and start all over will bring salvation. The team we have is hopeless. Good luck PJ, huge job on your hands. BTW I see ME is one of the richest men in the land, with what he's increased his wealth by over the past 12 months we could emulate Man City so stop sitting on it and SPEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| News Comment | Delaney Signs New Deal at 09:54:18
Nooooo. He's a liabilty and we should have offloaded him. He's the reason we lost two easily winnable home games recently, sorry. In my opinion! |
| News Comment | Clegg: Season Ticket Deadline Non-Negotiable at 08:25:38
Wakey Wakey everyone, it's time to get out of bed & smell the coffee..... We're all operating (whether we like it or not) in a Capitalist, market economy. Clegg is not interested in fan "loyalty" he's interested in profit. He doesn't care if there are fans struggling to pay or renew on time, his bottom line is to screw fans for the maximum he can get away with. Look at the outfit he's left to come here from, the BOA, what about their fair pricing for the olympics? You're having a laugh, hundreds of pounds for seats at the better events. The only cheapies are at things like the first round of the ping pong competiton etc. No, while fans continue to pay he'll continue to screw you. I renewed by the way but this will be the last time if we're not at least in the play offs in May 2012. It's a market, as Cleggo knows and I'll be shopping elsewhere if the product don't improve next season. I'll still get my fill of football it'll be local league stuff instead. Less travelling and less costly....... Cleggo's a market trader, if you don't like his product don't buy it, simples! BTW, if you're unaware of todays cut off deadline then your commitment to the club has to be questioned? Even my mother, who's never attended a game in her life, knows nothing about footy and hasn't a clue, on Monday asked me if I'd renewed because I ought to as the deadline was Friday (she'd read it in the paper). If you miss the deadline you're a dork, simples!! |
