Sacking MM would be a risk because he's had no budget and so it's tricky to know exactly how badly or well he has done. However it's got to be a risk worth taking, as long as the replacement at least tries to play football and uses youth - the old Ipswich principles. |

Personally, I'd like us to get in a specialist right back (and left back for that matter) who could go straight into the first team and hit the ground running. Would have been good to have had some pre-season time to gel.

A) Will MM be given it all to spend?
B) if he does, I'm not overly optimistic based on his liking for dull workmanlike players, and apparent dislike for any sort of flair / excitement.
I suppose it would cement our place in the league (mid table) if that's the aim. |

Jewell came up short but got us some good players and has shown since leaving that his heart was genuinely in it.
Keane on the other hand wasted millions, and seemed intent on sucking the soul out of the club and caused untold damage in his time here. And nothing ive heard from him or about him since can make me see him in any sort of favourable light. |
