"Footballs coming home"? That wasn't football and I'm glad i didn't have to pay for that multi-millionaire bore-fest. Well done Scotland, nice to see some passion. Southgate out! |
 | Forum Thread | London Marathon - cheer on the town fan! at 10:56 1 Oct 2020
For those of you who are going to watch the London marathon on TV watch out for ardent Town fan and former Woodbridge boy Aaron Scott. Give him a cheer on from your sofas! This is his fifth London marathon and he has finished in the top 25 three times. His PB is 2:16:57 so he's not going to beat Eliud Kipchoge, but as his Dad I'm highly chuffed that he has been selected again in the elite race for GBR. |
 | Forum Thread | Felt so sorry for Freddie Sears today at 19:31 20 Oct 2018
The guy ran his heart out with little support. Now I'm no football coach, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that continually lumping the ball in the air to a 5ft 7inch striker, up against a 6ft 1 inch defender will be fruitless. Despite his efforts, Freddie did not win one aerial ball against Joel Lynch this afternoon. |

I come on here to hoping to read people's tributes to our greatest ever player and on the first page there are at least half a dozen threads about Paul Hurst being sacked. SERIOUSLY????!!!!!! Some days I just hate what football has become. |

 | Forum Thread | Football has moved on? at 12:50 4 May 2018
Is "football has moved on" just another lazy phrase like "be careful what you wish for"? I would be interested to know, if that is true, why George Burley and Terry Butcher could not have moved on too like others of their generation still doing a good job. There is no doubt in my mid that his style of football was the most exciting we have seen at PR since Sir Bobby. What is there to stop that being replicated today? I have very little coaching knowledge, but am genuinely puzzled by the phrase. |

 | Forum Thread | ITFC programmes free to a good home at 17:22 11 Sep 2017
I shall shortly be moving home and have a box of 100+ ITFC home programmes going free to first person willing to come and pick them up from Kirton IP10. They are mostly from the Burley era. 1994/95 - 8 Premier League 1995/96 - 3 1996/97 - 4 1997/98 - 7 1998/99 - 8 1999/00 - 11 2000/01 - 15 Premier League 2001/02 - 19 Premier League 2002/03 - 21 2003/04 - 21 I don't really like to just take them to the tip, but need to get rid of some stuff! |
