I was always taught that with a bit of thought and effort you could get a set of figures to say what ever you want.
The difference between the 3 lions and the top 20 PLC owners is that they have been able/wanted to raise the money to buy out the previous owner and try another way forward.
We must also remember that the PLC investors have realistically lost their money but happily invested in a attempt to save their club (I did) unlike the super 6 who wanted to destroy English football.

For the last couple of years everyone has agreed that (on paper) we have had one of the strongest squads in this league, yet 2 very experienced managers have not been able to gel a team capable of averaging 1 and half points per game.
The senior players are not as good as they think “to good for this league “ and therefore have not supported and given leadership to the inexperienced which in turn as resulted in woeful performances and results and its these players who must accept responsibility for where we are today.
The younger less experienced players might well flourish in another team, some of the more experienced ones I can't see getting a opportunity.

The answer to the attendance number is simple keep it at £12 and fill the ground don't forget extra fans spend extra money on add ons like programs and food and before anyone goes on about season ticket holders of which I am one, now would be an ideal time for the powers that be to look very closely at the Huddersfield model ie £250 to renew. |
