There is a very good comment in today's EADT written by Brian Pinner and he is spot on. The majority of us are all in agreement with what he has written. But, he like us know that these armchair managers will never be satisfied.

Parrott in For Norwood as Blues Face Rochdale

Well Mr Cook should give up on promotion this year and plan for next. Even by a miracle town do get into the play offs,
with this lot they do not have a hope in hell of winning it.

So you Lambert haters, he must be sitting at home with a big smile on his face. If he is thinking 'they have got what they wished for" he is absolutely correct. It's not the management that's at fault but this usless bunch of players and the owner

I would not be at all surprised if Evens is looking for a replacement as I type, if he isn't then it proves that he has no ambitions for ITFC

Lambert: We Kept Knocking and Got the Rewards
at 07:19:17

Where was the energy and skill, once again it seems as if the players were not interested if they are excellent footballers they would be in the Championship or Prem League. I like listening to Mick Mills on Radio Suffolk he tells it as it is and seems to have a better grasp of what need doing than Lambert

Judge: A Good Away Point

Lack of vision and lack of pace with no energy for 90 minutes, look at how the top teams in the Premier League play. The ball is zipped all over the pitch from defence to attack, I have been a town supporter since 1960, take a look back on U Tube at how Town played under the great late Bobby Robson, no comparison.

"Mick lost the fans" did he now, I don't think so, no, the fans lost Mick, would you put up with people who were the minority I have to say, shouting and swearing at you every week, no you wouldn't. He did his best with the players and limited budget that he had. Just remember you will never win the Grand National riding a Donkey.

Twenty Years Ago Today, Reuser's Dramatic Debut
at 13:06:22

As far as managers go things have not changed much since the Bobby Robson era, it does not matter one jot how good you are if the manager does not like you personally then you have no chance. We know from experience that players who are liked by the manager will always get a game even if they are rubbish

Twenty Years Ago Today, Reuser's Dramatic Debut

Having time on my hands I took a trip down memory lane to the Town matches under Bobby Robson. One thing that I did notice was the way that the players of the era did not hesitate in front of goal, once the ball came to them they just wacked it toward the goal with one hit, non of this second touch to control the ball stuff that we have today. One thing is for sure the player of that time got stuck in, in a way that would have them sent off in today's game

Lambert: Marcus Will Do What He Wants to Do, I Don’t Sit and Worry
at 12:41:19

Regardless of what every one else thinks I still think that he will turn things around, as a player said this week, Lambert tells them how he wants them to play, and they are not doing as they have been asked. Remember folks you will never win the Grand National Riding a Donkey, we have a bunch of highly paid players here who are not pulling their weight and panicking in front of goal, as soon as they get this sorted things will turn around. Getting rid of PL will not achieve anything, after all who wants to come here and get the stick that PL and MM got when the so-called fans get fed up and start hurling abuse at the manager

Ipswich Town 0-1 Fleetwood Town - Match Report
at 07:12:05

And what did Barton say after the match, you have to play with intensity, yep and there was town playing like they were having a kick about in Christchurch Park. Mick Mills comments on Radio Suffolk sums it up, the players looked if they had just met and did not have a clue what they had supposed to be doing. Will Town make the play offs and if they do what chance do they have of winning it, as it is now at this moment the answer is no and no chance.

Blackpool 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 19:16:44

Just take a look at the Stats, Ipswich 57% possession, 15 shots with 7 on target with 1 goal. Now Blackpool 43% possession, 7 shots with 4 on target with 2 0f these being goals. Not good reading is it, and nope I do not have a clue how the Ipswich Town players could not hit the side of a barn if they stood inside it

How often have we heard this old saying, we could have had 3 0r 4 more, we hit the post and crossbar, now bearing in mind that the Goal is 24ft wide and 8ft high how much bigger do they need it to be to put the ball inside it
