The fact that he drank and smoked his way through all the money he made in the game, (something that I saw at first hand), does not mean that either we or the club should dip into our pockets to help him out now.
And if this keeps his banal comments off the radio then so much the better - if I hear the words "I agree with ya 100% mate" , "or without a doubt" ever again, it'd be too soon !

Big screen would be good, a tannoy system that we can actually hear in the Brittania Stadium would be even better !!
Kids football at half time sounds like a winner, and would encourage a new generation of fans.
Banning loud halers outside the ground - that bloke who walks up and down uttering total nonsense makes me CRINGE !!!! AAAAARGHH !!! |

Wasn't at that game, but was at the previous game at home to Grimsby, where we could have clinched promotion, but didn't.
The place was heaving, and everyone was running about like headless chickens trying to get in as one stand after another closed.
We tried to get in with the away fans, but when the turnstile operator asked my mate for his address in Grimsby, and he replied with "Haddock Street" !!, we were promptly turfed out !
Finally got in and sat right behind away dugout,where Alan Buckley kept running about, spoiling our view. When someone banged on his (large perspex), dugout roof, I nearly got thrown out by a police chief inspector !!
Had a go at the stewards on the way out for their totally inept performance, and nearly got arrested again !!
What memories, and what a time to be watching Town !! |

Don't normally come on here to moan, (plenty of others to do that, it seems !)
However, it seems that every other article on here is PJ coming on to admit that he made a mistake, (countless examples in the last few weeks !)
He's an experienced manager and shouldn't be making these kinds of mistakes !!
And to now announce that finishing outside the playoffs would be seen as a good season really beggars belief !!

O.k, so he wasn't pele, but then he was a lot better than a lot of the dross that has been through the doors of portman road in the last few years.
He would appear to have been the consumate professional during his time here, and, in my opinion was shabbily treated in his last appearance.
Who among us wouldn't have reacted in exactly the same manner when hauled off after half an hour when there were others around him having a far worse game ?
Never really got a run in the side, and I for one wish him all the best in his future endeavours. |

Would like to see Billy Sharp personally, but wouldn't be disappointed to see Mackail-Smith.
Just wanna see the back of Scotland, we need him to hold the ball up until support arrives but the ball just keeps on bouncing off him, like he's a brick wall.
Makes me wanna shout "Bring on the wall!", a la Dale Winton every time the ball goes near him !
We do however need to get the ball forward quicker as Naarch did against us, it seems that every time one of our midfielders finds himself with an opponent in front of him he thinks "oooh, bugger, better pass it backwards or sideways !!"
Optomistic about next year all the same !!

Worst game I've seen for ages, was p**sed off at half time, it was just like watching any game from the last five years, fifteen passes, no ground made, and then an errant pass, (one of many !), and we're in trouble !
Awful, awful performance, why take Martin off when others were having a far worse game.
How badly does Whickham have to play before he's substituted ??
He was truly terrible tonight, should have been the first one hauled off !
Worst I've felt after a game for a long, long time !

I know what SHOULD have been the best goal at PR - Think it was against Forest; A wonderful move with a lot of our players involved, followed by a long, pin point to an on-loan Marlon Harewood, who had a relatively easy finish and he fluffed it !!
Everybody walking out that night were saying that that SHOULD have been one of the best goals ever scored at PR !!
As for THE best goal- any goal by Trevor Whymark - my hero !! |

Got back at 1.05, with a sore throat and a loathing for a couple of Arsenal players - Fabregas, (diving cheat, and their goalkeeper - smug, face pulling ba**ard).
Edwards was at fault for 2 of the goals, WE NEED A PROPER RIGHT BACK !!
Supporters were awesome, never stopped singing all night, Arsenal's only woke up when they scored
