Michael Chopra and Richard Stearman will be back in the Town side for Saturday’s home game against in-form Bolton Wanderers. Left-back Aaron Cresswell is expected to be fine, despite suffering an ankle problem in training, but right-back Elliott Hewitt and striker Frank Nouble both miss out due to injuries.

Michael Chopra netted his first goal under Mick McCarthy’s management in the final minute as the Blues came from behind to win 2-1 at Bolton Wanderers. The home side had gone in front through Mark Davies in the first half, but DJ Campbell equalised from the spot after Daryl Murphy had been fouled, then Chopra completed the job at the death.

Town picked up their seventh league away win of the season as first half goals from skipper David Norris and Connor Wickham saw Paul Jewell’s men to a 2-1 victory at Burnley. Norris and Wickham netted within seven minutes of one another before the break, with the Clarets pulling one back through Jay Rodriguez in the second half.

Midfielder Owen Garvan has been named in the Coca-Cola Championship Team of the Week. Garvan was involved in all three goals as the Blues defeated Cardiff City 3-1 on Sunday.
Town 2-1 Derby County Sat 14th Apr 2007
A late Danny Haynes penalty won Town a 2-1 victory over Derby in a pulsating game at Portman Road. Matt Oakley put the Rams ahead prior to the dismissals of Alex Bruce and Derby keeper Stephen Bywater, but Town were on top throughout and Franny Jeffers equalised before Haynes's late spotkick.
Preston 3-1 Town Wed 15th Mar 2006
Town's play-off hopes appear to be over after losing 3-1 at Preston. The Blues were controversially reduced to 10 men early on when Richard Naylor was sent off but then went ahead via Jason De Vos. However, as Town legs tired in heavy conditions, David Nugent (2) and Patrick Agyemang won the points.

Awful Town fell to a crushing 4-0 home defeat to Preston North End. The Blues rarely looked like getting back into the game after two goals from Lilywhites' striker David Nugent put the visitors ahead just after the half hour, David Jones and Patrick Agyemang completing the scoring.
