What can you make of that? A match we were controlling, a good opening goal, then Bonne amazingly contrives to make and then miss an open goal, and we were never the same again. Cheltenham grew into it, took their chances, we never really made any more chances, and it all slipped away. By the end we looked well beaten. We lost it in midfield - couldn't stop them overrunning us when they were coming forward, couldn't make chances when we were on the attack. It's clear Cook hasn't got the right components of this team together - yet (I hope). But we are already falling some way behind the pace of the early league leaders...

Second half I don’t remember an attempt on target. We looked totally in control for 45. Not sure about what happened with what looked like a hideous miss in the first half. Second half out fought out muscled out desired. No guile to break down then having every man behind the ball. We looked like we were fearing every Ben Tozer long throw. We look like we have some good players. Edwards was a threat, piggot was for me totally ineffective, too much passing it along the back and to the keeper. Yes I know we need to keep the ball but next to no penetration. Can see glimmers but it needs sorting and quickly.

We're scoring good goals and conceding bad ones. I suppose, at least, it's easier to sort that on the training ground but it needs doing quickly.

Give credit to Cheltenham, they seemed to have a plan to close down Ipswich players, crowd them out, and move quickly off the ball.
By contrast Ipswich did not seem to have a plan which has been the same since Cook arrived.
Although it's early days, in the four games played so far I have not seen a pattern developing.
Concerning!!

Are we not capable of changing a system. Our midfield overrun in 2nd half by a team of tryers. Yes they smelled victory and went for it. Us oh we.ll sit back because we are better players. Mmmmm we can blame cook for the system which didnot suit this game? Or some of our players need a kick up the behind! Its 90 mins plus a game not 20. I luv the blues but am so peeeed off. Heart and soul for the cause will always beat tippy tappy football. Super blues forever 💙

Midfield too one paced for me with Harper and Evans. Must show far more battling qualities otherwise teams will over run us in this league. Why isn't Fraser playing in his favoured number 10 position surely this is why we signed him. Expect too see a far more passionate performance on Saturday.

Worrying that we're losing it in midfield when we're supposed to be so strong!!

Can't understand why Chirewa isn't being given a chance on the bench, he's the only player we have that can score more than one

Referee was probably the best so far into the campaign, the others have been utterly terrible. Disappointing evening, but we go again.
