Ipswich Town 1 v 1 Manchester United FA Premier League Sunday, 24th November 2024 Kick-off 16:30 |
Robert_Garrett added 19:44 - Nov 24 Their Goalie was their best player so that says a lot about us not taking three clear cut chances. We gave it our all and never looked out of place at any time. MoM was definitely Hutch as they couldnt keep him quiet. Linkboy13 added 21:05 - Nov 24 Yes we should have won this game Hutchinson and Delap gave United plenty of problems. United came out second and got much tighter to Hutchinson and Delap but i thought we still should have won it. Eeyore added 21:23 - Nov 24 Morsy the best midfielder on the park v Man United. Who would have predicted that three years ago!? Never gave the ball away. Every pass is to feet. His first touch and control were A1 today. Always sprinting back if we are in trouble. Never stops moving and calling for the ball. He even turns and goes past players. He even outsprinted Rashford! 10/10 Omari was outstanding again and just gets better and better. He is much sharper than at beginning of season. But where was the Omari somersault? Burns put in a great shift today. Cajuste looked class again. He has a great first touch. O‘Shea improved after the goal. Guilty of not spotting Rashford‘s run for the goal. It’s so basic. Look around you! Tuanzebe and Lief both looked good today. Leif‘s defensive side definitely improving. Delap outstanding and unplayable at times. So unlucky not to score. Roy Keane pretty much said that United need a striker like Delap. Szmodics worked hard and looked dangerous. I think we have much to be proud of. Can’t help thinking that Woolfenden is as good as O’Shea . Not sure what he has done wrong. Eeyore added 21:29 - Nov 24 Forgot to mention Jack Taylor. He has such potential and I really like him. But, he ‘forces it’ and his passes get intercepted. He has to be more careful with passing to have a future in the PL. Bluesky added 21:42 - Nov 24 Man U were mediocre and lazy. We could have won. Morsy was immense, as were Delap and Hutchinson. Nobody played badly. Bert added 23:25 - Nov 24 Such a pleasure to see a really good referee. He wasn’t fooled by United’s rolling around, he allowed the game to flow, didn’t book anyone, talked to the players and in my book got every decision right. A rare performance from a top official.
