Can’t believe the low rating so far for Skuse. Were the raters there? If so, they know he was our most effective player today. If they weren’t there then their scores are prejuced and downright unfair.
The result was a little disappointing after a fine first 20 minutes but a point is welcome.

First 20 minutes we played some great football and Hull looked appalling....but once they got into the game they gained confidence and in the end probably should have won it. Not impressed with either of our centre-backs today. Beaten far too easily which made it difficult for the rest of the team.

Difficult situation for the recently returned from long term injury and still to find form heroes. It is still a step in the right direction after the recent overpowering defeats. Still not far off that punching over the weight play off spot. Lots of positives against a team desperate for points to avoid relegation after being in the Premiership for years and still receiving parachute payments in mega proportions. The ability to grind out results will see us stay up the table rather than play pretty and miss our goals. Still doing far better than the majority anticipated so take the positives and work on it. It was a very dour defensive game despite four goals. Defence needs to work on their marking, midfield improve on their supply forward and chasing back and the forwards to improve on the effectiveness and efficiency.
