Well done Town. although I tipped 2-1 to Town I had a sneaky feeling that not only would they get passed off the pitch I worried they might also succumb to pressure. How wrong was I! Spence was excellent and the rest played well. Their chances were well taken and Reading were made to look a bit powder puff. It would have been good if Bishop had got on for 20 minutes or so because we are going to need him.
Looking forward to seeing them locally for me next week at Wolves. THAT wil be tough with their form and attacking intent.

First half we were outplayed and the defence plus Connoly made some superb blocks and tackles. Second half Reading got frustrated and we should have had more. Exciting sqad now that can hopefully push for the top six. Also, great applause for Parker which I joined in with loads. COYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Against teams like Reading Fulham who play a keep ball style it was clear from yesterday that Mick's plan worked. WE worked hard and closed them down so they didn't really hurt us. However with Connolly providing more pace and getting forward we pose a bigger threat. Waggy was everywhere and Garner made himself such a pain (good to see him nack). Spence had another good game but still feel that both Chambers and Webster are too keen on long passing when it would have been easier to keep it on the ground!
I thought our movement was better and there were clearly some signs that the team are varying their game and get a better understanding. Just hope Mick can apply the same approach away.
