What happened to “Super Searsy” ? Since Tuesday McCarthy has been praising him up.

First 10 minutes were exciting and made it look like a decent start. But after that there was no creativity. Stephen Gleeson shocking, barely noticed him there until the sub. Celina reaaly disappointing, Sears would've offered more. We were not outclassed, although poor Blades finishing gave us the point. BORING, worst I have seen all season.

Truly shocking performance by Gleeson, yet he's not got the lowest rating????? These ratings don't reflect performance at all.

Disappointing display by Town, never outfought, but the formation just did not gel. Bart and the back three looked solid, Iorfa tried hard and was overused in the first half, only to be replaced by a woeful part performance by Spence, while Kenlock was sound in defence but never given the ball enough to show his attacking talents.
The midfield, often bypassed, by over hit balls from the back, had no penetration, Skuse seemed the only player taking part, with Connelly (unusual for him) and Gleeson sadly lacking. Celina looked lost in whatever roll he was meant to play today, while Waghorn was stranded upfront with no service.

At the risk of sounding Mick like, Sheffield United are a decent team. They played well, and we defended equally well to keep them at bay. The three centre halves looked both comfortable and accomplished, but unfortunately that’s where the positives dry up. Our wingbacks were dreadful as per usual, and besides a couple excellent interceptions from Skuse, our midfield was it’s usual creativity free self. In general we can rely on one of our forward thinking players to make their own opportunities, but not yesterday. They too were well below par.

All in all we should be thankful for the point, because it is arguably one more than we deserved from the game.
