McGoaldrick is back to his imperious best. His dribbling is a thing of beauty and a joy to behold. Flynn Downes is like Stevie Gerrard and Tristan Nydam is a skilful little terrier. All in all a very encouraging performance.

Damn......
High scores.....seems that at last there is reason for some optimism.....
It's just down the road from us, but having seen both of the Stevenage + Southampton games too in recent years, I couldn't bring myself to waste more money on three (kids and I) tickets, food ET al

That will teach me to submit b4 finishing.
Anyway, shall keep reading up on the real write-ups by genuine attendees and who knows, I might be tempted back.

I wasn't sure about mick saying Bru wouldn't play for us again but after seeing nydam and downes
I am sure.
Nydam is a little terrier with a great touch and close control.
Downes is a forward thinking game controlling midfielder.
Great performances from them 2

What a difference a few days can make and how the season is shaping up to become something great. Nice dedication to the injured Andre Dozzell by David mcGoldrick.

I don't mind finishing mid-table if we play like we did against Luton every week. So refreshing to see us play out from the back, the back four trusting each other with the ball and the midfield making themselves available all the time. I just hope we don't revert to the hurried, long-ball game we've seen over the last few years. I know it was a League 2 team, but Luton would have given anyone a game given the form they are in. Loved seeing the young players getting stuck in, only Kenlock had a bad game in my view. Waghorn reminds me of Rooney, and I can see him and Celina playing behind Garner or McGoldrick in a front three. It's encouraging stuff, lets hope McCarthy keeps the momentum going.
