The last league campaign we shared with them saw us relegating them. Ended up with their manager too.

Those flashing adverts at Man City are horrible. The casino advert looks taller than the linesman.

Still feel that Man City will see this out, but at least there's just a chink of jeopardy about it all.

Fairly apt if it’s Rodri who’s put this away. Such an important player for them. I wonder if they’d be open to a cheeky bid? Lol

I see Villa have won the ‘team most on the beach’ award for this season. A total dead rubber as they’re guaranteed Champions League. Now 5 down at Palace.

2022/23
Man City 89 points
Ipswich Town 98 points

2023/24
Man City 91 points
Ipswich Town 96 points

Statistics don't lie. The only reason they won the league this year is because Ipswich Town weren't in it. 2024/25 will be a different story.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

It went to the last couple of games, so not the easy ride they might have expected. They always seem to find their form when others stutter a little. Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle will be stronger next season, so might be a more exciting top 6 next season.

You say boring, but a new record has just been set.

No team has ever won four titles in a row. It’s been 100 years since Huddersfield made history by winning three consecutive titles. The tides will change for Man City just as they did for Huddersfield 100 years ago.

Personally, I think Man City's dominance over the past few years is more due to Pep's brilliance than financial advantage. The financial disparities between Manchester City and other big six clubs over the last 10 years have been overstated, in my opinion.

Moreover, Manchester City is the only club from the big six that has ~40,000 fans who have experienced miserable away day losses in the third tier of English football, just like we have done.

I might be a bit biased in my opinion because a few of my best mates are Man City fans, but I really don't resent them as much as the rest of the country does.

One thing is for certain, though: no other club from the big six, other than Man City, will have supporters that respect and appreciate what we achieved last season. Bizarrely, a lot of the long-in-the-tooth Man City fans are probably weirdly jealous!

I started reading your post and let out and audible sigh.

All your points are valid but this new record has a big old fat asterisk next to it until the 115 charges are brought ahead.

In the meantime, the premier league have took a big old dump on the history of football by letting these title wins happen without penalty and by not governing their league properly.

Also they had the most tin pot pitch invasion I have ever seen today. Pathetic.

I can't see any titles being rescinded, to be honest, and you won't find me among those campaigning for it. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on the whole "dump on history" viewpoint. Plenty of other clubs in the Premier League have spent just as heavily over the past decade; they just didn't have Pep Guardiola to maximise the potential of their signings.

I'm unable to comment on the pitch invasion as I haven't seen it. Interesting piece of trivia, though (not that it significantly supports my points) – I was recently told that Man City are the only team to ever celebrate winning the Premier League* with a pitch invasion.

Add to that the increasingly tiresome Pep man baby antics.
If you banned him from using the word tired, he’d have absolutely nothing to say.
