Thread | Hive mind required - Gran Canaria

Just booked a week in the sun for me and the mrs, 7th Sept-14th Sept (risky without knowing the fixture list, I know)
Popular destination so hoping a few of you have been there. Can I have a hive mind on stuff to do over 6 days that won't break the bank too much? Probably spend a couple days on the beach and four of them doing stuff so I'm all ears.

Just want to stop reading newspapers who 'understand' x y z.
It feels as though there has been no change for about 3 days, one minute one club is confident of getting McKenna, the next another club has him as their top choice...but no actual moves.
Which is very weird to me. If you're Brighton or Chelsea's CEO, surely you would want to act as quickly as possible to try and wrap up a deal before he chooses to go elsewhere or stay at Town.
I am growing increasingly confident that most of these journalists don't actually have a clue what is going on. |

When Leeds are on it, I still firmly believe they are by far the best team in the division this year. They just weren't on it enough weirdly, did the double over us and Leicester and still didn't beat us to top two. Unstoppable on their day

Do you reckon we actually have? I was pondering this after seeing all of the bus parade scenes etc with probably 55k+ in Ipswich and I didn't even make it personally.
Maybe 70,000 if I had a guess, or do we reckon it's higher than that still? |

VAR is the worst invention to the game in a long time. It completely ruins it for the normal, match-going supporter. To have a moment like that as a Cov fan and it gets snatched away from you. Unbelieavable
I thought it was clear and obvious errors only?! Well if Haji Wright is offside by a toenail, that shouldn't be a clear and obvious error, that's an easy thing to miss. No one spotted it in real time did they.

I remember watching this club for years be run into the ground and lose every week in league one playing like utter toilet. I remember when someone found the Three Lions following us on twitter, then the deal being done a few months later after Evansās long email to the fans.
Never wouldāve expected fast forwarding a few years that weād be in such a strong position where weāve been able to sell 40% for Ā£105 million considering they bought 90% for Ā£40 million, the same price Norwich sold one player for in the same summer bought our whole club.
So lucky to have been able to watch us transform into one of the best run clubs in the country with what is easily the best manager outside the PL and be able to have made some good memories following us up and down the country in my prime years of life. Football is an entertainment business and weāve definitely had our fair share of that since the takeoverā¦exciting to see what the future holds but we have such strong roots now.
Even if we donāt get over the line this season, weāve still had some amazing times and I hope the likes of Kieran McKenna, Leif Davis can see how well run and well rooted this football club is and stay to have at least one more shot for it. Never wouldāve dreamed of being in this position that night after Cook went and we lost 2-0 at Charlton with fans on the pitch.
Plus, if we do go up, we are financially secured for many years to come, and will be in such a strong position with hopefully finalising a Cat 1 academy, building a new training ground and a new stand helping us to push on to bigger and better things up the pyramid. I don't remember a club in a very long time in modern football be as well run and sensible as we are, I genuinely think the structure of it is incredible and such an overlooked part of football at times, and we are (again) lucky that it's us this time.

Star man Omari Hutchinson has been asked if he'll be back at PR next season. He says: "Maybe, I hope so".
On today's performance he says: "It was definitely my best game, it was so enjoyable."

OH adds that it will be "difficult" and that he'll talk to his family and agency to make sure they support the decision he makes.
