If somebody said when we were mid table in league 1 that McKenna will get you to the prem and then leave, you would have bitten their hand off. It’s sad to see the journey end if he does go but equally what a ride. You never know, a good window of signings and a progressive manager and we just might look back on this saga and laugh! Shows when a few key players are missing that we still have a very league 1 squad. If anything reinforces how remarkable we have done so far this season. Ladapo looks limited in this league. Williams unreliable. Humphreys looks really good on the ball but is not a left back. Think we need another Jan window like last time to compete let alone think about promotion |

I'd go all in for this guy. Young, potential to improve but more importantly a proven goal scorer at this level. Swansea must either be looking to cash in or use him but their own manager says the strike department is their most competitive part of the squad. I personally think Lampard would be a great manager. He took Derby to the playoff finals and in a season with a transfer embargo led Chelsea to a top 4 finish. Speaks well and is passionate/ambitious. But, why on earth would he want to go from managing a top 4 prem team to a mediocre league 1 team - just paper talk. |

That was my first game of the season live. Shocking. Walton kept it respectable with some cracking saves (albeit clearly has no right foot). NSIALA has no idea what to do on the ball. Donacien out of place at left back. Evans and Fraser absent. Bonne offered up nothing. Aluko and Edwards showed glimpses of hope. All in all dreadful, including my balti pie and John Smith pint. |

I think he wants to get the message out that he is not actively looking to sell which could be a bit of PR for negotiation if takeover talks are ongoing and also for reputation saving if indeed the rumoured takeover does happen. However, to me there is nothing profound said anywhere to suggest the takeover is as far along the line as is to be believed. Here's hoping it does happen but I'm not getting over excited about it |

This is what a "normal" owner has to deal with, balancing the books for infrastructure upgrades, non-playing staff and the academy. Its not just about throwing cash at a manager a and squad of players. The stark reality is we simply don't have the finances to be a sustainable football club if we start throwing money at new signings. I think this will be the case for a long time, unless an unbelievable crop of youth players emerge or we get taken over by a silly rich owner. |

We lack cutting edge and unfortunately got punished by their only 3 shots on target. That said, I loved the passion and robust challenges flying in. Harrison looked promising, Judge lively and Keane tirelessly won headers. I think the core youngsters in our squad make for a promising rebuilding job. This season is over but Lambert with Downes, Bishop, Harrison, Sears, Lankester, Nydam etc I think there are promising times ahead. Keep the faith ITFC! |
