Next year will see no parachute payments (equivalent of approx £35million). Some savings will be made on wages, where contracts will not be renewed - could make up 5 to 10 million saving, depending how many they let go. Assuming they broke even this season, would leave a gap of about £25m to find. A couple of over value sales, could see them break even. The only real saleable assets are Sargent, Sara, Rowe and Idah. Only included Idah, as believe he may make a permanent move to Celtic. Possibly 3 to 5 million. But from my rough calculations, that leaves needing to find about £20m. |

You have both missed out Coventry, if they don’t lose anyone, can easily see getting in the top six. |

I haven’t heard anything either, but would make sense to utilise the bottom of the Cobbold for the extra seats, as can’t imagine there will be too many season ticket holders there. |

Agree, fans should want to see whatever team we are playing. Interestingly though the cup games were excluded from the priority system the club put in place for the Huddersfield game, guessing due to the reduced price of the tickets for these games. |

May depend on whether Southampton go up? I think he would likely choose Southampton over us, if both in the same league, assuming KM would want him. I do agree he would be a good option. |

Agree, that there should be some benefit to those that have been to games this year, ahead of new members. However think there may be an opportunity to guarantee 2 or 3 random games for anyone that buys a membership (including season ticket holders). Not sure how many memberships we had this year, but even if 10,000 it is still only a small percentage of the overall available seats. This would encourage more memberships, that would drive additional income into the club. |

They have put out a weaker team again today. No Downes, A Armstrong, Bednarek or Adams in the starting eleven. Also add the injury to S Armstrong and Bazuna. Take probably your best 6 players out of any team, and you are going to struggle. Guess Martin is saving them for the play offs. I am not expecting them to help us further next week. |

I got 87, I try to do it geographically, then look at the alphabet list, but missed one of the current 24! |

There are a lot of similarities with the two games. Firstly, we took an early lead at Portman Road, similar to Boro last night. Secondly at Half Time - we both go in 3-2 down. Second half Leeds defend and aim to hit on the counter attack, again similar to the Portman Road game. Leeds go 4-2 up in both, before a late consolation goal for both us (Chaplin) and Boro. Finally both games end 3-4. |

Similar, I joined at 9.30 and had 3200 ahead of me. Nearly all gone, by the time I got to front of queue. Very likely that this sells out today, apart from if Huddersfield return any. |

Would also carry into next season too, if we are not in the play offs. |
| Forum Reply | I just have a nagging doubt that we’ve drawn too many games this season at 16:31 14 Apr 2024
Think that’s a little unfair, we have pushed for late winners in many games and have scored a lot of late goals. You do not get that if you are settling for draws. 3 games to go, 3 wins guarantees promotion, may not need that much, but that is what we need to aim for. |

Thanks Tivo, It does appear that more has been made of this than necessary. Possibly due to the result, poor atmosphere and the Norfolk Constabulary figure. I do appreciate your time in response, and can see that you mainly contribute with ticket details on TWTD, so trust your figure, as being accurate. We need to put this behind us, and have all fans pushing for the results we need in what has been a fantastic season. |

If you are saying that the staff get 2 away tickets per season, it is still very short sighted to allow all or nearly all of them to select the same game. |

If you re watch it the ref has already blown before the shorts pull. Also Al Hamada had chested the ball forward, so was in possession of the ball, before the so called tangle of legs. It looked an obvious free kick to me. [Post edited 6 Apr 17:24]
