Lets have a look at why DeZerbi is leaving, he is quoted as saying they dont match his ambitions and he wanted more say in who they sign and who they sell, they are a selling club and Brighton are a club who make lots of money selling players, doesn't sound like a move forward to me as he doesn't have any of those concerns at Ipswich!
He is settled here as are his family. He is in the middle of a project here. I think it would demonstrate a lack of ambition and its surely more of a challenge to stay here and work his magic here, in a couple of seasons we could become an established premier league team, we have the capacity for so much more than what Brighton currently are!
That wouldn't be a great move for his career, he's a smart and honourable guy, I think he will stay here for now!

it has become farcical , should be used to help out in a case of a clear and obvious error and given a time limit. Referees and their assistants have a split second to make a decision, I think there is still a place for it but in its present format it cant stay, ruining the game!
Dreading next season when we score late and appear to get something from the game only to have it ruled out after 3 mins for a big toe being in an offside position. |

So I have a question for those in favour of this, if we fall short on Saturday and end up in the playoffs are we going to greet the coach for the first leg of the playoffs? Let’s do it for every game shall we, then it will lose all meaning ! This as I have already said may not be the last game, by carrying out this debacle it suggests that we believe this is the last game and comes over as arrogant on our part! The timing of this is wrong , we will have plenty of time to celebrate if it goes well! We might have another 3 games, can’t for the life of me imagine why anybody with a scrap of intelligence feels before the game is the proper time to celebrate! |

Regardless of the motivation behind this to the world it stinks of celebration before promotion is clinched and us not in line with the quiet class with how we have gone about our season.
After the last one which I witnessed and the following disappointing result I was speaking to my Norwich colleagues and told them how embarrassed were they to celebrate a draw with such ferocity , their reply was not as embarrassing as you lot celebrating a victory before the game!
They had a point, I did feel really embarrassed!
Those who are in favour of this clearly don’t know what it’s like to live amongst the old enemy, if it goes wrong on Saturday I will never live this down !

It’s tempting fate, a bad idea! And there are plenty of fans that think we only need to turn up on Saturday, I was listening to Suffolk radio this morning one even quoting a 5-0 thrashing I suggest listening to Suffolk radio!

I will be a massive stick to beat us with if we fail on Saturday!
Should we get promotion greet the team for the first home game next season, not now it’s ridiculous and I will go nowhere near this pathetic spectacle on Saturday, it’s like brenner woolly talking about outcomes before the end, commentators curse .
We have gone through the season in a quietly confident manner, for a long time no one giving us a chance of promotion, please keep up the class with which we have used so far! |

Should we get promoted along with all the records we have broken and all the entertainment we have enjoyed along with some heart stopping moments! I would like to think Eggman will apologise to all those who have kept the faith and supported the team throughout an amazing 2 seasons, supporters who have consistently been attacked for supporting the team and having an understanding of how the game works!!
