Another striker option.
at 12:46 1 Jun 2024

Someone you may have heard of this time. Andrea Belotti, 30 years old playing at Fiorentina on loan from Roma. He is not that tall at 5ft 11 but he is strong and great with his head. Whilst not fast he is no slouch and the sort of striker who would fit our style. I do not think he would break the bank and may relish the challenge.

I came up with Tim Kleindienst. A 28 year old German striker who plays for Heidenheim. It is their first ever season in The Bundesliga and they finished in an excellent 8th place with Kleindienst scoring 17 goals. He would be cheaper and on a lower wage to any comparable English based player.

Another solid option from Germany would be former Everton right back JonJoe Kenny.

Caoimhin Kelleher

Apparently he wants out of Liverpool and we were linked with him a few years back. He did not look out of place when Alisson was injured earlier in the season. Still young for a goalie aged 25. Thoughts?

He will be the last player born in the then East Germany to represent his country and to play at the top level. Still very good now and excellent in his prime.

Davis reminds me of Alexander-Arnold.
at 00:07 10 Mar 2024

Both are great players at their level but neither are great defenders. Davis is more of a wing-back and could also be good as a wide midfielder whilst TAA is more of a deep lying playmaker. The problem is we don't have the players that suit a 5 at the back formation.

Would you take Downes back on loan?
at 02:49 9 Mar 2024

It seems he will not make the grade at West Ham. Out of all the young high potential kids we had 5 or 6 years ago he has progressed the furthest with the exception of loanees Carter-Vickers and Chalobah. If we are not promoted I think he would be great on loan. If we do get promoted Chalobah would be an excellent loan.

A week ago Jurgen klopp described The Championship as "Insane."
at 19:20 7 Mar 2024

He wasn't wrong. Hull who are in a play off place are closer in points to the relegation zone than they are to the automatic promotion places. It is not inconceivable that Sunderland or Boro could be in The Premier League, The Championship or League One next season. In terms of points mid-table is West Brom in 5th down to Cardiff in 10th. I don't remember anything like it.

If other NATO countries do not pay 3% GDP if he becomes president again not only will he not help defend them he will encourage and support Russia in attacking them. We currently pay about 2.4%. If Russia attacks us will he provide them with assistance in doing so? What a class A Richardhead and masturbater he is.

Schalke 04 in serious danger of going out of business.
at 20:44 3 Feb 2024

To put it into perspective, although they have been up and down in the last few years their equivilant English club would be Villa, perhaps Spurs. One of these clubs going bust would unthinkable. They are in serious danger of being relegated to The German 3rd Division in which case they would not be able to sustain their debts. In the last 20 years they have produced excellent players such as Leroy Sane, Manuel Neuer and Leon Goretzka. It goes to show what a big club badly managed can become.

Furthest global domestic away days.
at 04:34 16 Jan 2024

I think the current furthest is Perth Glory vs Wellington Phoenix and the furthest possible is FC Dynamo Vladivostk vs FC Baltica Kaliningrad. That is quite a round trip. The current furhest in The England League is Plymouth vs Sunderland with the furthest possible being Jersey Balls vs Carlisle.

Our squad depth.

Sadly consists of League One players. Are there any decent free agents we can pick up? I know Matthew Longstaff has no club and he was a Newcastle regular a few years back. I know a player who failed to impress at Aberdeen may not seem a good option (he was mainly injured at Mansfield) but If anyone can get him back upto scratch it is KM. He would not be a starter but someone who could be good given time and the right coaching. Worth a trial at least.

Jay Stansfield

There seems to be some substance in this rumour. He is a Fulham player on loan at Birmingham but it seems it will be like Broadhead last season where he is recalled and then sold. He has scored 7 in 21 for Brum this season mainly as a sub. He is a youngster and far from the finished article but certainly one for the future and worth a punt. He would not come cheap though, in the 2.5 to 3 million bracket.

Rwanda a safe country?
at 16:56 5 Dec 2023

I am not yet 50 but I was an adult when a third of all Rwandans were killed in perhaps the worst genocide in the post war period. Even in the unlikely event that the courts pass this latest cr*p it will be hundreds at most who are sent there for the cost of many millions of pounds. Yesteday Cleverly actually announced some real policy part of it which I actually agreed with. Today he is spending our money on the continuation of this stupid Tory culture war. £Millions of tax payers money to appeal to a few thousand far right morons, I object to that. Cleverly seems just as bad as the rest of them.

There are calls for the UK to leave, we would be in good company. The only two European countries outside of this treaty apart from kazakhstan that has a tiny part of it's territory in Europe are the bastions of freedom and rights that are Russia and Belarus. Countries with dodgy records like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and it has to be said The Ukraine are in. Sad state of affairs.
