Breitenreiter: Changes But We Have to Remain Professional
at 16:08:14

EFL Rule states “For any league match played on or after the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the league match before.” But he could put 9 of the 10 on the bench!

Blue Action Coach Greeting Ahead of Huddersfield
at 09:25:49

trncbluearmy - you keep posting but are not reading what others are actually saying. This is about pre match routine and prep.
It is not about 'loud' it is about 'when', so stupid sarcasm about sitting quietly just shows you are no engaging the issue.
When you write it is about 'in your faces' you have inadvertently explained it to yourself. In whose faces? Do you seriously think that it helps a player to have fans 'in your face'? Why to they listen to music on earpieces if loud 'in your face' fans helps them prepare more?
You are spectacularly missing the point.

Blue Action Coach Greeting Ahead of Huddersfield
at 08:31:57

We are clearly not unanimous that this is a good idea. I am one who takes the view it adds unnecessary pressure and would only be appropriate if promotion was already secured. I think this is becoming a fairly thoughtless habit. For all the fuss it is a small proportion of the fanbase who seem to have a disproportionate sense of their importance.

Coventry City 1-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 01:03:48

'The Town captain moved to 14 yellow cards with a 15th on Saturday leading to a three-game ban should the Blues need the play-offs.'
I think the 15 card suspension is cut off at the end of the regular season so this is not an issue were we (sadly) to be in the play offs. The reason is the unfair disadvantage a play off team/player would suffer over against all other teams.

Charlton Boss on Omitting Town Loanees
at 14:29:02

The comments here are very kind to Jones who is known for his nasty quotes. Perhaps most famously though for complaining, "They had three crosses and scored three goals" (at Southampton I think) as a self defence when everyone pointed out that was exactly the problem. He has treated these loanees badly. He should not be excused.

McKenna: We Take the Positives From the Performance
at 09:18:02

I probably get paid a year what Kieran gets paid a week but I think I've spotted a flaw in the reasoning here. With five games to go in a season, there was no need to 'take the positives from the performance'. All that was necessary was to take the points. Several 'performers' will be returning to their clubs shortly, so it's fine to now have four bad performances and 12 points, thank you.

Town Dismiss 400 Staff Tickets Claim

This is the kind of hassle we could do without at such a stage of the season. Irrespective of whether it is in some sense true, this belongs at a later meeting with the club, not on social media when all that matters is 5 wins..

Norwich City 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 15:34:32

To lack intensity is that game is inexcusable. The goal was effectively a Morsey own goal, giving away yet another completely unnecessary freekick in a dangerous position. Five more games before the budgies knock us out over two legs. Time to go on holiday I think.

Town Gallagher Interest "Significant"
at 16:54:35

Cambsrover14 - no club in its right mind triggers an extension against the player's wishes - the extension clause secures a fee at the cost of his inflated wages (over 600K per year). By the summer Rovers will have paid a £300K fee to keep him. With Rovers' form his market value will be steadily decreasing and if relegated he'll practically go on a free.

Burns Withdraws From Wales Squad
at 08:41:26

'Why is everyone so tight lipped on this injury?' The two obvious answers are that hamstring injuries require careful assessment with scans (as KMcK said). The answer won't yet exist. Second: Knowing injury details is a great advantage to our competitors. That's so clearly wrong I don't know why it was written. Blackburn will be more interested in Burns injury than anyone on this forum.

New Strike Pair on Bench at Preston
at 14:57:11

It's obvious enough, isn't it? The new guys have got to learn their roles which is best done in this match starting on the bench. Moore has not even had one practice session on grass. I think people do not realise the intricacies of how a McKenna team operates. If you could learn it without practice, the opposition could too, and stop you easily.

Travis Loan Signing Confirmed
at 10:06:50

Best guess is that he will be signed in the summer if it goes well, but perhaps only if we remain in the Championship. I doubt he is Premiership quality. He frees Luongo to go if he wants to, which is quite likely. Two 30+ mids isn't really a plan going forward.

Brighton Winger Sarmiento Set For Town Loan

Strikers are gold dust - I think NorwichBlue138 might be on to something. I think Broadhead is one of our two 'new' No 9s and possibly Stansfield and this guy makes that possible. Love Hutchinson - but why don't the Chelsea Youth Academy teach players the offside rule? (Or landing crosses short of row 35 behind the goal)
