Great news but we do have to mentally prepare ourselves for his departure and no complaints from me if he keeps us up for one season and then goes for champs league footy. If he had left this summer I think it might of condemned us to a bottom 3 finish. |

There is a real irony about the fact us fans have been told that a key part of the transfer policy is only to pursue players that want to be part of of the Town project, the KM project but TWTD have now reported KMs representatives have had talks with West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Chelsea and Man Utd. Let's remember that the only thing he was won at Ipswich is personal accolades and meanwhile the winner of the playoffs will leap from us in transfer readiness for next season as surely most of our targets won't be willing to commit until the manager situation is resolved. |

I voted for Davis but chuffed for Sam. He is a better player this year than last when he picked up too many bookings with many of them preventable. So nice for him and Chaplin who both played in sides that flirted with promotion to get bigger roles and more pitch time at PR and now will finally get their chances in the Prem. It's been a surprise that Sam missed out on this sort of recognition almost through the whole of our league 1 season but restores my father in the football family that fans of other clubs have given him the credit he deserves in good enough numbers to end up in pole position. My personal opinion was that KM's first season was underwhelming. His 2nd season was at best par as finishing 2nd to Plymouth wasn't too impressive. Auto promotion in this particular season however I think will rank as one of the all time great performances that sets a very high bar for championship teams that may not be beaten in my lifetime in terms of how impressive it was. The bookies had us as 3rd favourites pre season which seemed way too optimistic but in the end was fairly accurate. Hopefully he doesn't get poached in the summer and we can get at least one season with him at the helm in the Prem. Tonight he is getting all the plaudits he deserves and even hard to please cynics like me are counting our blessings we have him. Went to my first game in 74 and I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly in the hot seat and KM is way above anything since then for me. |

He is the best manager in the league regardless of how the final few games pan out but comparisons to Burley just aren't credible until he gets us promoted. I think he'll deliver automatic promotion on the final day of the season and then the praise for him can really go to another level |
